About This File

432 Park Avenue is a residential skyscraper in New York City that overlooks Central Park. Originally proposed to be 1,300 feet (396.2 meters) in 2011, the structure topped out at 1,396 ft (425.5 m). It was developed by CIM Group and features 125 condominium apartments. Construction began in 2012 and was completed on December 23, 2015.

As completed, 432 Park Avenue is the third tallest building in the United States, and the tallest residential building in the world.It is the second-tallest building in New York City, behind One World Trade Center, and ahead of the Empire State Building. It is also the first, and so far only, building in New York City outside the World Trade Center Complex to be taller than the original twin towers.

The skyscraper has received mixed reviews from both professionals and laymen alike since not everyone agreed with the artistic value of the building.

  • The building has been maligned by some city residents since they believe it represents New York's increasing cost of living and ostentatious wealth.
  • 432 Park's association to wealth inequality was also remarked upon by the building's architect himself, Rafael Viñoly, who commented that "There are only two markets, ultraluxury and subsidized housing."
  • Fashion consultant Tim Gunn described the building as "just a thin column. It needs a little cap."
  • Architecture critic of the New York Mag, Justin Davidson, said that the building is nothing more than just "stacked cubbyhole units" and questioned the creative value of the building.

I think I requested this from you once, and I'm so happy to see it here. Have you checked out some of the buildings in China? There is one particular that would be amazing to see here. The Shanhgai Tower. Superb building. Thank you for uploading this, I am looking forward to more of your skyscrapers to come. =)

Amazing work as always. I honestly wish I still played SC4 just to build with all these new buildings. Have you considered creating assets for Cities Skylines? You'd be an amazing asset creator there!

      I went out and bought SC4 on the very first day it was released. And from that day, the default tennis court park has bothered me and I couldn't figure out why. I even mentally played a tennis game on the default court: I serve... it goes long... and I watch the ball bounce out across the street and bean some old lady in the head. My second serve is returned and flies high and to the right... and I watch it skip across the railroad tracks and get crushed by a passing forklift.
      And then it hit me... NO FENCES!!  I've never seen a tennis court that wasn't fenced in. Without fences, there would be 20 minute delays between serves while the players ran off to shag balls. An otherwise enjoyable game... would radically suck!
      Anyway... I put a custom BAT fence around the courts, stuffed 2 on a 3x3 lot and gave it some adequate parking. Voila!! Instant Tennis Park!!
      This 3x3 park has all the size, costs and benefits of the game's standard large park. The park was designed to be used with the PEG Trail Parks but works just as well by itself. It does not require that you have the PEG Trail Parks installed. It is fully self-contained and has no dependencies.

      * Like the PEG Krispy Kremes, this lot also uses a BAT modeled parking area instead of textures. This allows true 3D curbs, planters and sidewalks that add a depth and realism to the lot.

      This park system combines three updated versions of previous park sets - Monument Park, Urban Gardens and White Sands Park. Mainly I wanted to create the possibility to lay out a good variety of parks, paths and gardens for any type of city - particularly with options for different path textures to be used on the same city tile. You can now have three very distinct park-styles in your city, each with its own character (layout, props, textures) - and you can mix and mingle them any which way you please... and even exchange or unify textures as you desire.

      This will enable you to use the paths, prefab parks, ends, transitions, addons and extensions of all three park sets in one glorious citywide park system.

      * Three complete parksystems, each with a unique style, textures, props and individual pieces

      * A host of possible configurations - Narrow, Wide, Diagonal, Sweeping Curves, Ends, prefab Parks and more

      * New park 'Sidings' for realistic-looking transitions to your roads and avenues

      * Transitions between textures and/or sidewalks that can adapt to your preferred sidewalk textures and mods

      * The ability to exchange or unify the base textures on the fly to suit your taste

      * The option to mix and mingle sections of all three sets any which way you want

      * All items designed to create extended lawns to be enhanced with MMP flora of your choice

      * All items with consistent properties, descriptions and plop helpers, tightly arranged in your menus

      * A host of overlay textures and custom props to make your own matching lots

      * Peace of mind that future sets and addons will be made to match all of the above

      Please note that there is a more in-depth Online Documentation with lots of additional info and many images available as well.

      * Paeng Texture Pack v103 (updated version Sep 2011!)

      * Murimk Props 02, v201 (updated version Sep 2011!)

      * BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01

      * BSCBATPropsMattb325 Vol02

      * BSC MEGA Props - MJB Vol02

      * BSC MEGA Props - swi21 Vol01

      * BSC MEGA Props - D66 Vol02

      * Porkie Props Vol 01 and Vol 02

      * SPOT (Orientation Helpers)

      The aim of this overhaul is to 'streamline' the park packs as far as dependencies, general layout and possible variations are concerned. The layout and appearance of the sets have been maintained as much as possible.

      Most of the pieces - including the new 'Sidings' - are layed out to give you nice spaces of well-groomed lawn that you can plant with your own choice of flora - bushes, shrubs, flowers and trees from your personal MMP collections.

      If you don't want to use any of the sidings, you can safely delete the respective subfile(s).

      If you want to exchange or unify any of the base textures, make sure to carefully read the separate instructions included with the 'Texture Changer 205' module (included, but packed separately).

      This MTP 3x3 lot is a simple park featuring a tranquil and soothing pond. Although it is the size of a large park, adjustments have been made for a lower density rural area and the lot has the exact costs and properties of a small park.
      ** This lot requires installation of the PEG MTP SUPER PACK

      This MTP lot is a more rural alternative to the standrad Gazebo lot. Its the same size with the same costs and properties. Its just a tad more rustic looking.
      The lot uses a random prop family so 1 of 3 different custom Gazebo models will display each time you plop the lot. The Gazebos are also nite-lited.
      * This lot doeas not replace the original Gazebo lot.... and should appear in your Parks menu somewhere near the original.
      ** This lot requires the PEG MTP SUPER PACK.

      This pack contains two simple lots designed to compliment the MTP abcvs Education Pack.

      This pack contains two files:

      *MTP grass 1x1 lot to provide a filler or extenders to the MTP Education lots or any other MTP lot.

      *MTP 2x2 Medium Playground

      **Author's note:   This is it guys...  this is the first lot that I ever made all by my self!  Everyone starts somewhere and this humble little upload was it.
      -Cori Edit: Fixed linkys.
