Description: The Olympics bring an entirely new flair to a city's stadium villages and the people who have fun there. In no time, regular passers-by are talking about sports you've never heard of, followed by the comment, "that's an Olympic event?!?" Yet others, inspired by the exciting contests by athletes breaking records set before Julius Caesar roamed the Med, will spend a few weeks at the pool or gym before discovering it's not that easy and they'd rather do something else.... like hit up a bar or pub. Luckily for those at any stage in this cycle, Stadium Village Pack 03 has you covered! The pack is made up of four BATs, each with both a growable and ploppable version. - Medley Aquatics: a swimming/diving/water polo supply store for those who compete in events such as swimming, diving, or water polo. - Olympic Supply: everything an Olympian needs to perform (well, almost everything) and everything the fans need to cheer them on. - Golden Zamboni Restaurant: OK, digging into winter here, but hockey is cool enough to include at any time of the year. - Hoops & Hops Craft Brewery: The place for a good craft brew and some basketball. Legend has it that the Dream Team once visited this place and then promptly left when they discovered they were in the wrong place. Hey everyone Things to know about this mod: - Changes swimming pool from mayor's mansion to a park rather than a module - Placed in Formal Parks menu (since it raises high wealth land value) - Still can be plopped as a module - Can be plopped anywhere (no snap points required.... exactly like how BoC does it's buildings) - Has park-like qualities (visitors per day, capacity, etc) a. Visitors per day: 500 (based on how many people visit my town's local pool every day) b. Capacity: 50 - For some reason, you can only plop one (at least in my game). I am working to fix this. Here's a video for the mod: You can use this mod online. How to install: - Install the 05swimmingpool.package file into your SimCityData folder. - Install the other two files into your SimCityUserData folder. Enjoy the mod! More are coming! -
We were still on our way to Avno, when the ship stopped in the middle of the ocean! I couldn't think of any reason for it to do so, but everyone around me seemed very calm, I was baffled. I asked one of my friends what was going on and he replied: "Did you forget? Today we get to swim and tour the coral reefs!" I had completely forgotten! We were quickly transported from the cruise ship to smaller boats, enough for me and all my friends. There was a licensed boat driver, of course! We came up the the coral, there were so many fish and coral species! I was amazed! The coral reef is huge! And we were still approaching the larger part! I was over excited, I could not wait to get to our boats! We finally got to our boats, some of which has glass floors! We were the lucky ones, we had a glass floor and decided to stay in the same place, many others did the same. We stayed for hours, staring down at the native life, it was amazing! So much life all right underneath out boat! We finally left the coral reef and came to a series of small, sandy, flat islands. These islands were remarkable, they had rocky coastlines with small areas of clear, white sand with lush vegetation all around. I could have been a desktop background they were so beautiful! There were many of these islands scattered across this blue ocean, all in a unique shape and form! Our driver got a call, time for us to head back to the ship, we'd be in Avno very soon! -Sorry for the late update, been very busy with schoolwork, lots of homework, sacs & essays..- Replies Schulmanator: Very tasty treats! It is open air, and has meets twice a game year, complete with fans in the stands!
