Description: The Olympics bring an entirely new flair to a city's stadium villages and the people who have fun there. In no time, regular passers-by are talking about sports you've never heard of, followed by the comment, "that's an Olympic event?!?" Yet others, inspired by the exciting contests by athletes breaking records set before Julius Caesar roamed the Med, will spend a few weeks at the pool or gym before discovering it's not that easy and they'd rather do something else.... like hit up a bar or pub. Luckily for those at any stage in this cycle, Stadium Village Pack 03 has you covered! The pack is made up of four BATs, each with both a growable and ploppable version. - Medley Aquatics: a swimming/diving/water polo supply store for those who compete in events such as swimming, diving, or water polo. - Olympic Supply: everything an Olympian needs to perform (well, almost everything) and everything the fans need to cheer them on. - Golden Zamboni Restaurant: OK, digging into winter here, but hockey is cool enough to include at any time of the year. - Hoops & Hops Craft Brewery: The place for a good craft brew and some basketball. Legend has it that the Dream Team once visited this place and then promptly left when they discovered they were in the wrong place. Description: The neighborhoods and commercial districts surrounding stadiums and ballparks take on a character all their own, whether it's an established nook of the city like Wrigleyville in Chicago, a university campus hosting professional teams as the University of Washington in Seattle did briefly at the turn of the 21st century or Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood did in the Forbes Field era, or even revitalized pockets that follow the construction of a stadium, such as Washington, D.C.'s Navy Yard area. There are four BATs included, with both growable and ploppable versions: - Llama's Bar & Grill: a fictional sports bar and a tribute to the default team names of SC2000 as well as the Simtropolis reactions menu. - Hometown Nation Official Team Merchandise Shop: a fictional merchandise store where there will be a reliable supply of overpriced jerseys and ballcaps. - Stadium Karaoke / Lawson Convenience Store: a fictional karaoke bar in the Japanese mold - multiple stories of individual booths - for those Llamas fans who want more nightlife after the game. There is a Lawson convenience store - not fictional, one of several chains of "konbini" in Japan - on the first floor - Ballpark Pizza: fictional place where Sims can satisfy their hunger without spending every simoleon they have on food inside the stadium. Hello, I have considerably the most luxurious merchandise Simtropolis ever created: solid-silver pin or mini-sized letters. Yes, you hear them right: solid-silver, not silver-plated or even worst, silver-colored things. So, the idea are Pin: you place in your shirt to show to others that you are a part of Simtropolis. The style will be logo only or Simtropolis letter mark. If possible, the pin will feature the signature blue color. There will be special edition pins. These pins are only circulating in small number. Mini-sized letters: you place in your desks to decorate it or place it in a collection. Unlike pins that you won't need after certain numbers of them because your cloth is full of them, you can collect them as many as you want, making it the best substitute or complementary of STEX Collections. Again, there are colored (if possible) and there will be special edition letters. Maybe, we'll release a gold edition for long-standing Simtropolitans. Other. Please vote other in What style of merch do you want? section of the poll and post your idea below. The price for these are either $5 or $10. We'll cover higher prices if there is a demand for them. For the limited edition, the price is obviously different. How can Simtropolis get benefit from this? Well, silver price is actually cheap, ~$1/gram. So, Simtropolis will get $3 from every purchases of the merch. Same goes to $10. Assume the weight is increased to 2 gram, Simtropolis will get $5 for every purchases. This will be the cheapest donations with rewards, as compared with $10 of STEX Collections. What do you think? Is this a great idea? Thanks.
