    I'd go for it, but there is just too insanely long of a list of dependencies and dependencies for dependencies. I've had this game for 6 months now. I have completely created my infrastructure including the waterfront. With the time I've spent getting dependencies, I've yet to build a single zone. lol

  12. Beaches that blend into the water?

    I have tried the Coastal Modd...but not the Beach Development kit.. I think it's the Coastal Modd that I was using when I took the pic. I am a bit of a noobie at "SC4"...and I just want a beach that will work with my Appalachian Terrain mod. I didn't like the beach color, so I tried keeping the original Maxis beach, and tried other beach color mods. My goal....I'd like to keep the Appalachian beach and use plopable beaches to give them proper color. I can cover the edges that still appear with plopable sand and stone, but not when they do what they are doing. I want my first region to be like the US east coast....(New Jersey/Virgina beach) I like realistic looking cities with functionality. Thanks for the idea....I'll give the Beach Development kit a try and watch for "prop pox". Update: I tried the Beach Development kit..and wile the boardwalk and invisable beaches are exactly what I'm looking for, they do not have the ability to transistion around corners. They have transitions, but they seem to be useless for turning beaches...unless I get the whole lot of Coastal Development Kit. I guess I could give it a try...

    I have a simular problem with Fm_BeachesForIrregularCoasts v3.2 beaches and any water mod so far...including Costal Mod. They look great until I eather save the game, or go to city data view. This is what it looks like after.
  14. How To Make Eye-Pleasing Realistic Beaches

    I have a bit of a problem with FmBeachesForIrregularCoasts...and I can't find the creator. It doesn't appear that I can post the pics of the problem, so I'll try to explain it. They work and look fine until I eather save, or view city data. Then the sand that extends into the ocean gets freaky. I can see all the way to the bottom of the ocean. IDK where else to ask this question, so I'm asking here. I've tried it with different water mods and none at all...still get the same results. Any ideas, or know the place I can get help with it?

    This will probably sound like a stupid question, but I am a noobie so....where do I put the "has_dependencies.dat" file?

    Did you know you can simply drag a normal OWR through the avenue and then drag MIS into the OWR stubs to get an automatic transition to OWR. That would be much simpler than using NWM transitions and it looks a little nicer too. I did try that after I posted this, and though it does look better, it still has stop lights only on the Avenue. That...and those ugly arrows..lol Are they going to still stop at the intersection? Oh...and I had to use OWR transistion because I have to come off of a 90 degree Mis...which leaves me with those little two lane stubs.

    I am a noobie to SC4...I am having trouble with connecting two Mis ramps to an Avenue. In the image I have two intersections. The one on the right is what I get when I directly connect Mis to Avenue....no stop lights. On the left is what I get when I interconnect Mis to NWM's OWR-1 to OWR-2 transitional piece into the Avenue...only stop lights on the Avenue. Is there a way, preferably easy, to connect them propperly, or will one of these two work normally?
