  3. BNL Cloverleaf Insurances

Great!   Something I see every day by looking out of my living-room window can now be loaded into my own virtual city.   And if you do requests for other buildings: Nationale Nederlanden's "Haagse Poort" building? please? pretty please with sugar on?   Actually, on a more serious note, I would like to see some more modern dutch family homes "rijtjeshuizen" instead of office complexes
  4. Liezen, Austria

Quite an accurate map. As one who frequently holidays in this area, I can actually recognise the Irdning mountain. Interesting trivia: The Airport scene at the end of the film "where Eagles Dare" was filmed at this location. (Th Irdning Mountain can be recognised in the background) More exactly, at: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Liezen,+Austria&hl=en&ll=47.534545,14.142902&spn=0.010445,0.02105&sll=52.062166,4.486614&sspn=0.075671,0.1684&oq=liez&t=h&hnear=Liezen,+Liezen+District,+Styria,+Austria&z=16 If I have one criticism, it would be that the river Enns is not showing up in you map, but that most likely is due to you height settings. Nevertheless a 5/5

  7. ALPS vol. 13 Zillertal

Oh, by the way, I really hope you will go furhter eastwards and add Kufstein, The Kaiser Gebirge, Wildschoenau, Kitzbuehel , etc, etc.
  8. ALPS vol. 13 Zillertal

Absolutely wonderful! I spent a lot of holidays in Brandenberg, so this gives a great opportunity to try to rebuild it in Simcity!. One question yhough: While it looks to connect to your Innsbruck map, there appears to be a height difference, judging by the SC4 mapper colours. Befro I try to connect these regions, I would like to know whether this is an illusion or have you possibly mixed the heights up between these two regions?

  17. Recreation: RUHRGEBIET by EJC

This is becoming a very interesting region. I really do hope that you'll continue with it. Where did you get that station depicting "Bochum Hbf"? I need something similar for my city (of which I hope to start my own CJ)

Wir fahren fahren fahren auf der Autobahn! Fantastic work. One question: can the signs be placed without the walls?
  23. Hi, I'm Working on the following Idea, but I need confirmation whether it is at all feasable. Being a European, I would like to develop my cities the way they are very distinctly created during the 20th Century: Building styles pre-1910 Building styles 1910-1940 Building styles post-1945 I'd like to develop cities exactly according to style, switching to a different style for each area I wish to develop As an example, I would use Vanderaap's and Haarlemmergold's creations in pre-1910 Gascooker's residential and commercial sets in 1910-1940 Stephenhh and other moderns in the post-1945 Basically, these are all the sets I use, and the cities look much more uniform already, even without tweaking it more Using Trop od's tilset mod, I should be able to split above styles over Euro, New York and Houston tilesets, and not have the Maxis Buildings appear by leaving the Chicago out of the game From what I read in most of the posts here, I should use the Ilive reader to 'modd' the buidings to a different set. now, after this introduction, come the questions: 1. Will this affect existing lots? 2. Will this affect lots already built in-game? 3. Do I need to do anything else with the Lot Editor to make this work exacty how I want to, or are lot's adjusted because of the building desciption? 4. (slightly off-topic) How do I decide whether a buiding will develop on a low-medium or dense zone when using the Lot editor? Yes, I don't make much posts, but I am not a that outspoken kind of a guy. Thanks for assisting me. Jerommeke (edited by adding html tags and making my post so much more readable)
  24. Andreas, Swamper77 Just want to say thank you. It took some tweaking, and I still have problems with some cities that were already saved, but on the whole, the changes made as advised by the both of you are working. Still am a bit hesitant about demolishing those cities, but If that's the only way to make it work, so be it.....
