  1. MGB Lot and Mod Shack

Yeah I messed up my installation. I first installed the Full Japanese NAM Facelift mod, BEFORE I saw your SWN Mod. And I didn't know, at first that I should have done it the other way around. I removed both mods then reinstalled anew starting with your SWN Mod first and carefully reading the Readme file. Then following the end of your SWN mod instructions I just installed the parts of the Japanese NAM Facelift mod that were relevant
  2. Does anyone have or make tropical crop lots?

First off I sincerely apologize for Necroposting on a lot of these old threads, and in one instance I can't even delete my post after seeing another person asking the same question I asked who also received the answer I needed. Anyhoo, this time around I am asking for those Banana farms JMyers shared a link to on that link to the thread Mithrik posted three comments above. Can anyone share a working link to them please?
  3. Complaints Office for Magneto Mods

    Please disregard.
  4. MGB Lot and Mod Shack

Oh so SWN kinda Supersedes AtmoGuy's mod but adds more to it then? Good to know Reason for Edit: I need help it seems... I've uninstalled Atmoguy's mod and the only Sidewalk mods I've got installed now are: 1. The Japanese NAM Facelift mod 2. Paeng's Sandstone mod. 3. The SWN Mod for Paeng's Sandstone. Unfortunately I am having a bit of an issue with the GLR component as now, without AtmoGuy's mod, the GLR no longer shows any sidewalk at all. But the Starter Piece preview DOES show the Sidewalk. But as soon as I drag out the GLR it no longer shows the sidewalk. Here is a video for reference... https://www.facebook.com/cahosrahneveloza.azolevenharsohac/videos/314387068305152/?notif_id=1719455932617395&notif_t=video_processed&ref=notif I do suspect the issue is being caused by the Japanese NAM Facelift mod, as I installed the GLR component as described by your guide here... ...and I'm testing my hunch out now. Yep, that was the culprit alright https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10225167240434682&set=a.1579252687803 Now off to reinstall the Japanese NAM Facelift mod again.
  5. MGB Lot and Mod Shack

I tried your "MGB - Sidewalk NAM (SWN) for Paeng's Sandstone Pavements" mod... And it apparently replaces the regular GLR's Concrete pavement with the Maxis Sandstone texture. Is there a way to disable this? I'm asking because I'd also want to use AtmoGuy's implementation where the textures under the Tram rails use the Maxis concrete texture...
  6. Instalation and Configuration of the Japanese NAM Facelift Mod

I really want to redownload and reinstall this awesome mod since I forgot to make a personal backup of its files. However now when I try to click on the download button of Hide-inoki my damned Web Browser keeps telling me the site is dangerous and insta fails the download I tried with Chrome, Firefox and stupid Edge and each one doesn't allow me to download the file. I hope these could be hosted here someday... Reason for Edit: I figured it out. I just needed to tell the Malwarebytes plugin of web browsers, I didn't even install Malwarebytes , to stop blocking Hide-Inoki and the download finally came through.
  7. NAM 48 Configuration Question

Oh cool. I'll definitely wait on that then Wait... The Intersection Crosswalks options are no longer available in the NAM48 installer. How come? I used to set up my cosmetics with Euro Road textures AND Riga's Crosswalks. But now all I have is Euro with the default intersection US style straight line pedestrian crosswalk. But what I need is the old Zebra style crosswalks.
  8. NAM 48 Configuration Question

Long time no see CaptCity It's so good to see a familiar SC4 Community Veteran after all these years. And thanks for the link. It sure is what I needed Now off to find a NAM 48 compatible update for Moonlight's Japanese El Rail mod I go.
  9. NAM 48 Configuration Question

Just got back playing SimCity 4 and am trying to update most of the mods I'd amassed several years ago. One of 'em is naturally the NAM, with the last version I had was NAM 45. Now I remember a few iterations before Moonlight's Shinkansen Mod was incorporated onto NAM itself. But now whilst going through the install options for NAM 48 I noticed the Shinkansen mod is no longer offered as an option. So my question now is, is there an updated version of the Shinkansen mod that will be compatible with NAM 48 I can download from somewhere?
  10. Traffic Blocker Set

This is a great mod to have for controlling the kinds of vehicular traffic that will pass through on our cities' roadways. Unfortunately I seem to have encountered a bit of a minor issue with it. I use the "Euro" textures for my game's roads and RHW, but whenever I plop down any of the RHW blockers the lot's RHW textures show the standard/US textures with the Yellow inner marking instead of the all white markings of a Euro RHW tile. I was under the idea I might have installed the incorrect MGBtextures.dat file so I checked and double checked if I had installed the correct version of the file. And yet the issue persists. I hope someone can help me figure this out. Otherwise I'll just have to ignore my OCD since the issue only appears in a single tile of RHW where the blocker lot is plopped.
  11. Revisiting Prop Pox and Prop Theory

I can't find the old SC4Devotion thread that listed all of the known lots that have been confirmed to cause Prop Pox, but more importantly with this breakthrough fix can we now disregard that list and once again safely use those flagged lots freely as long as we have the fix installed? There is one particular building on that list I'd want to use in my cities again that I regrettably had to remove from my plugins folder to avoid the Pox back in the day, the Madison Square Gardens pack.
  12. Where did simpeg.com go?

One set of items I know off hosted here on the STEX which are presented as installers (the bane of our MAC user comrades) but were hosted as zipped archives on the PLEX is the whole "Modular Amusement Park Pack" (MAPPs) series. Also I do recall a few other items from either the CDK or the MTP series were also hosted here on the STEX as installers but were zip packaged on the PLEX. Also I do recall a few other items from the MTP series which are hosted here on the STEX are a little outdated from their PLEX counterparts. I think they're the MTP ploppable woods and/or the Seasonal variant... or perhaps the dependency files (models) for them. And let's not forget the awesome content contributed by folks like Murimk, Paeng, Craig-Abcvs, EpicBlunder, Tamorr and Becca (I hope I recalled everyone's names correctly as they used to appeared under the "Contributors" section of the PLEX

@dmc2904: I think the terrain mod Haljackey uses is this one: https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1527 Better yet, why don't you just PM him and ask which one he does use.

    This be what you'll need:

Try the "Classical" Statues Mini Parks from this download over at Simpeg: http://www.simpeg.com/forum/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=587 Try these: https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1691 https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1874 And also try doing a search here on the STEX using the word "ruins":
  16. Can't find it?... Ask here!

The best way to deal with this issue is to not zone on such steep hills at all, that is to say you really need to "flatten" your terrain a bit or at least make the slope gentler. As for a mod that removes this effect, I don't know of any such mods so your best bet would be to wait until someone who knows of it comes around to find it for you.
  17. Can't find it?... Ask here!

I'm guessing you haven't used the RTMT.... http://www.google.com/cse?cx=partner-pub-1378940987028293%3Awyjdrk-l6zg&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=RTMT&sa=Search#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=RTMT&gsc.page=1 ...because had you been using it, you'd have known that the answer to your question is a resounding YES~!
  18. Beach mods not working

@dossenaandrea: You need to "soften" the edges of your terrain to make proper beaches. What you're seeing on your picture are sheer cliffs and not actual beaches.
  19. Can't find it?... Ask here!

At least Paeng's reimplementation looks way better

Here are several options for you: Maxis Default schools reworked for a more rural setting: http://www.simpeg.com/forum/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=488 And here are several custom schools too: http://www.google.com/cse?cx=partner-pub-1378940987028293%3Awyjdrk-l6zg&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=school&sa=Search#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=school&gsc.page=1

@Mymyjp: There are several Nightclubs on those packs as well. Also I forgot about this one, also from SG as well: https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1670 And another nightclub I know of:
  22. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Try doing a search here on the STEX for "NIMBY" lots and hopefully you'll come across the sets from both MadHatter106 and SimGoober Incidentally most of SG's (SimGoober) NIMBY lots were also consolidated in this pack here: https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1092
  23. Can't find it?... Ask here!

What you found is the one for Elevated Rail. There is another one just like it for Monorail as well. Be warned though, the one for Monorail is quite incomplete as the tracks will revert back to Monorail whan it crosses some of the wider RHW networks.
  24. Can't find it?... Ask here!

@omer584: Reinstall NAM32 (IF you do have it already ), then select "Custom Install". Next go over the various options until you find the "Japanese Bullet Train Implementation" option.
