We all know the massive city known as New New York that's the main setting of Futurama. New York has suddenly undergone a new construction boom, and many are saying how its making New York look ugly. I, personally, have seen all the proposed,approved, and under construction skyscrapers in NYC, and the only one I have problems with is Hudson Yards. All the others, ESPECIALLY One57, are very beautiful, since the all glass skyscrapers are my favorite (it is weird how so many are pencil towers though).
If you haven't seen the current and projected skyline shots, NYC is going into a good direction. HOWEVER, NYC has been around since the 1700s and when you look all the buildings from street-level, the only one that matches/fits into its neighborhood is One57, which has become my favorite skyscraper, unlike other people.
