So i like to come back to the now very old Civilization 2 (1996 i think). But if you like me want to play it be prepared to have to do some extra downloads and adjustments to get it going since it´s some 32 bit system and you´ll have to upgrade it to run on a 64 bit for win 7 or 10 or whatever you have or crashes or just to get the game to run at all will be tough but there´s several work around´s usually for most of those old classics to make them working. Also Sid Meier´s Gettysburg and battle at Antietam is a lot of fun. One thread for promoting old but still worthwhile games to play i thought. And i don´t just play vanilla Civ. 2 but the ultimate classic collection which got some added scenarios and not that different but a game which produces a random map for each and every game (edit: regardless of which version you have), so it´s a whole new world every time to play around with and discover since you start in the "fog of war" so to say and though having one rather stupid AI (artificial intelligence), it can be a good match for any beginners of the game since i sure had a good competition with it before learning how to totally dominate it. Ranging from warchief\warlord something difficulty up to deity and the higher the difficulty level don´t expect the AI to grow some brain because of that but the game is adjusted more in the way to make it harder for you and giving the AI a cheat capacity (yes, but hey. It sure needs it). But if you are like me, countless hours of fun and i recommend it. Also Sid Meier´s Colonization might be worth looking into but by today´s standards outdated graphics for sure in most of these old games. Edit: Thank you moderators for removing my double post and putting up with me. I go on a rampage all over the net. Here i want to behave. I try to as best as i can. I hope.

Movies are awesome. Any good games and music as well but a really good movie i don't have to do anything at all in and it's for both the ears and eyes to enjoy, sounds lazy but what? We've developed the whole world now and time for a rest and enjoy our life's! The amount of movies i've seen is so big at this point so if i am going to list all of my choices i would miss several because of my memory and it would be a too long list but a top ten choice i will try to list here but i will probably not be so correct with it and have to leave out several top notch one's as well. Top 10 Choices of Toby's Gourmet Movies: 1. The Godfather trilogy 2. One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (called "Gökboet" in Sweden and it was an instant hit in this country). 3. Das Boot (about the German submarine crew during WW2). 4. The Usual Suspects 5. Cable Guy (I like most of Jim Carrey's movies because of his humor and rubber face. If i chose one of them i chose this one). 6. Alien 1, 2 and 4 7. Full Metal Jacket 8. Planes Trains & Automobiles 9. The Terminator 1 and 2 10. Poltergeist Well it's just some i came to think of now when looking into my movie folder on my PC. This list will have to do and just to post something here now and get some topic's going in the forum.

And also to the max? Completely filled that undeveloped land and started to do minor tweaks perhaps to it all? I´ve not come near developing a whole city´s all regions. I find myself engulfed in up to around max. 5-6 regions and sit and fiddle with them until i get bored and off with it from the hard drive. Many of you here are probably more devoted troopers and i´m a notorious QUITTER! On a side note. Admins and mods on forums can get cranky if the same topic is posted frequently, i just looked over the first page for any similar threads, perhaps a search is what´s expected as well. X-squeeze me but i´m a born again rookie here and wanna fit in and behave. (Said a person who´ve gotten banned from Facebook, 2 suspensions on Twitter and 1 account erased on YouTube). Oh and then it was that Swedish Flashback, never mind. I´ll try my BEST now!

You have been really sneaky so far and been able to keep my surprise party concealed and i appreciate the effort and all.
Will i get a RACE HORSE? Make it rather into a little more modest model and year of manufacturing, hold your horses now so to say.
(I just wonder why i haven´t even heard a PEEP! from anybody yet? Are you guys PROFESSIONALS!??).

One mostly for all "metalheads" here now or somebody which have a wide taste of music like me. It´s special, rare and not the mainstream song but one old one with some D&D theme to it (This songs album pic (below). also appeared on one Dungeons & Dragons the role playing game rule book that i had actually as well, along with this record and one more made by this group)., The J.R.R Tolkien books and all that. It´s in their songs a lot, "Cirith Ungol" the bands name, and just that is something taken from one watchtower in the Tolkien books with the same name. It´s good, special and you will like it. Or? Yes you will, why? Why not. Stop arguing and just give it a try at least, just look at that thumbnail pic for this song, you´re already fascinated by it so.... Pa Pa- J, your avatar is taken from one Metallica, (is it album, some pic with them), i guess? The "Wherever i may roam" song comes to my mind when i see it. I liked SpookyZalost desktop if not something pretty and good looking. Because it´s out of the ordinary and unique. Edit: Nah it´s just one similar one it seems like. You need a mobile device to share your real-time location through Location Sharing, I typed that up there in the discord chat but i forgot about it, copied from one web page and pasted it into the chat and "VERY interesting" for me to find out just what it was that was hiding in it but obviously not something even worth mentioning here, there, anywhere.

Nah, just if it´s a nice horse and it´s a beginner one because since i love animals in general, we should get along fine.
Keep it to a reasonable price and don´t go overboard now when you all here is putting together one big pot of money, or gold, when chipping in on it.

Politicians can´t be trusted, enough said. I usually talk too much so here is where i show restraint and composure so i won´t talk too much and in politics it´s always talk talk talk and nothing happens. Sweden needs to have a more realistic and working immigration policy. I will actually DO something instead and go and make myself a cup of coffee and a couple of sandwiches, then the bed. And... Lets be nice to each other, every day. If doing that on a personal level it´s enough, i don´t feel like talking. (Here it now itches in me to go on and on and on and i could be talking the talk, politics, if i want to). Poly-tics = many bloodsuckers. Be Good

But i´m FOR SURE not any persons toyboy on this forum or the subject for any moderators joke of moderation in here, there anywhere. You don´t qualify for it. Hey, just how much effort should i put into making a thread like this i think right now. So i just want to see the interest here in the SimCity community and your knowledge and experience with this game type in general that resembles the old board games made in the U.S over several decades ago, the Avalon Hill producers for example. The Squad Leader series should perhaps ring a bell for somebody into those games that was a close resemblance to the PC game series Close Combat as well. So for example; if you think that the PC game Europa Universalis 4 was one GREAT game to play i will straight away disagree with you since i think it was one hack of a game made by those producers and why they get away with games like that is just because the market, all gamer´s have such a low standard when it comes to games these days from what i have seen. I don´t want to sound arrogant here but will say that i have experience of games by now that stretches 4 decades back to Pong the game with more or less constant gaming, since i at least was one avid gamer before (since 5 years or so the interest have dropped off), so now not so much. But lets talk about it if you think you´re up for it. Games like Sid Meier´s Gettysburg and his The battle of Antietam was also good when they were released back then for example and some more. P.S I want to make my comments to the point and thorough but some trash, irrelevant mumbo jumbo might slip in as well when i make them since i´m no fancy pants person with any higher degree of education!

So Russia intervened, the "kurds" or "kurder" in Swedish withdrew and Turkey accepted to end any hostilities as far as i know so it´s peace for now at least in that area. But that Turkish president Erdogan seems to be a bit on the brutal side overall when using phosphorus on the civilians for example but that will probably not be the end of it entirely if i may take a guess on it. Much like Ireland perhaps where it just is one prolonged friction between two groups and i just say....CALM DOWN! Stop it and put down all arms entirely. It´s not that hard if you want to, trust me. The difficult thing for the human race is to say now in unison when the politicians are ready to let YOU fight. They would never dream themselves to put themselves in harms way, nor the rich. They know what´s what and are no fools. The common man neither, and we have a heart at least. Edit: And guts, lets keep em´on the inside of ourselves shall we.

Well i tried to do it just now. But if i had to verify it before and do some action that now is something that´s not up to date and have to be repeated i can´t remember if that´s what you mean. Samerton are you in and can you explain the procedure perhaps or what´s at fault here. I see no reason for the program to stop me here now. All set. Edit: It´s working now so thanks Samerton or the one doing the fix for it.

It says: "You are signed into Discord as Toby 66" Still it´s at status "unconfirmed". And also i get this when trying to type something in the message box in the SimCity channel: "Your message could not be delivered because you don't share a server with the recipient or you disabled direct messages on your shared server, recipient is only accepting direct messages from friends, or you were blocked by the recipient".

A suggestion when problem solving this one is to actually put the files where they go usually, in C: in SimCity´s correct folder destination for those files i.e, since that´s the first that comes to my mind being the reason for your failure. I guess you can work it out from there and free up some space to check it out. At least you know why it´s not working then and it gives you a clue to how you proceed from there.

Welcome Hieu To perhaps give you one comparison to just why you could need to specify what you´re looking for and like to play, for your own sake now to get any good recommendations. It´s like you would ask the community here; "What sport should i start with?" since it´s a matter of preferences and also what PC you have so anyone knows just what recommendations that would suit you and your rig, (Edit: that is your PC rig = PC).
