  1. PLEX on the STEX - Community Support

Hello guys, I haven't played the game in a really long time, so forgive me if I'm sorta ignorant. I've never touched the SPAM mod, but as I've read, it fixes the agriculture demand in-game. But my question is that is everything in the SPAM, including the only listed dependency, which is the MTP Super Pack, is that all? Cuz I was under the impression that the lots that grew in SPAM were modded lots and so I was expecting a bigger dependency list.
  2. Yeah, it seems the site is down. I checked about two hours ago. Edit: And... it's back up again. I guess nothing to be worried about.
  3. Solving the Plobbable Residential Housing Bug

I'm gonna sticky this incase I forget .
  4. On supporting bitcoin donations...

I don't think it's a bad idea. Paypal would still be my first choice though on the fact that I'd keep my coins while its value is rising :P. I'm on altcoins though. They've been rising as of late :D.
  5. Tribute to A Nonny Moose

I never knew A Nonny Moose personally. We may have posted maybe in the same threads a few times and maybe that's as close of a relationship I have with him, but his presence is so felt, I thought he posted in every thread. He was like a rock, a constant in Simtropolis. I haven't been active as of late, if at all. That said, I feel quite bummed to hear a familiar name pass on.
  6. Curved rail bridge

Is fractional angled bridges part of NAM? When did this become a thing? Sorry, I'm not up-to-date. I haven't played in years actually :(.
  7. I check back here once in a while. It seems everytime I do, Microsoft throws another wrench. They sure have been fixing a lot of things that aren't broken lately. Kinda makes you wonder what other things they are planning to fix.
  8. Good thing I have a lot of drives installed on my PC. I'll just install Windows 7 on my secondary drive while I upgrade my main one to Windows 10.
  9. Cities: Skylines Release Date Revealed

March 10? Woah. This thing just breezed over me. It's almost out and I barely noticed.
  10. STEX 100 Million Downloads!

    Party! Party!
  11. Cities XXL Now Available on Steam!

I'm not into Cities, but it's kinda sad to see all those thumbs down.
  12. It's an easter-egg that happens every Christmas.
  13. Cities XXL: Teaser Trailer

The thing that turns me off in the trailer are the bridges. Too many bridges and they still look weird. Overuse of suspension bridges. Do they have other bridge types? Other than that, I reserve my opinion about this game. It could be good.
  14. Tropico 5

This fifth installment seeems to be an eye pleaser Kalypso has really outdone themselves. This does not look anything remotely like Tropico 3 or 4. And unlike 3 and 4, the building aesthetics have a more accurate look and feel of a tropical Caribbean island. http://www.vg247.com/2013/08/28/tropico-5-screens-show-el-presidentes-makeover/
  15. Cities: Skyline; A new City Simulator Announced By Paradox

I'm quite skeptic. I still remember how we thought Cities XL was thought to be SC4's successor. Then we thought SC2013 was the true successor to SC4. This will most likely become a good game, but I don't think this is the game Simcity fans will be waiting for. Not much to go along with the trailer.
  16. Tropico 5

I saw an aircraft carrier, tanks and fighter jets in the trailer. Maybe that was multiplayer and maybe not controllable, but can be ordered. I haven't bought the game so I have nothing to say... except it looks gorgeous. I think I'll wait it out though until there's a sale in steam which I think won't be long.
  17. Country Themes #2 | Cagayan Province > Zapote De Oro-Lasmariñas

Oh my gosh. This is so hauntingly familiar, especially with all the jeepneys, the aging old government building, traffic and all the chaos. And that church, it's the kind of thing you'd see in the Quiapo district. Although, you'd expect this kind of development in a metropolitan area, not along the country side or even a city on the country side (unless it is a metropolitan area). Perhaps the only room for improvement here is adding more people because Manila streets are always very very crowded with passerbys, street vendors and stuff. All in all, nice work.   By the way, Cagayan is an actual province in the Luzon island. Cagayan de Oro is a city in the island of Mindanao.
  18. I tend to not take news seriously on April Fools Day =P. Best wishes to them though.
  19. Tropico 5 first gameplay trailer

I think he was referring to this gameplay trailer.
  20. Philippine Airlines Pack

Also, Zest Air is now Air Asia Zest.
  21. Well you're quite all over the place .
  22. Update 8 will be 1+ GB

Countries that aren't developed. We have a 7GB daily data cap on our 3MBps plan. After that, the speed is throttled down until 12am of the next day.
  23. DLC-For-Charity: Partnership Between EA and Red Cross

I still can't believe this is the direction Maxis took their game. The DLC isn't even worth the price. Either this is charity with a bit of robbery or Robbery for a good cause .
  24. Tropico 5

Could've sworn the multiplayer was actually a good thing. Having battles with neighboring cities would be interesting fun. I mean fighting the rebels hasn't really met up it's expectations really. Of course, there will always be single-player. I don't think Kalypso would do a SimCity. In fact, I think adding a multiplayer feature would better suit Tropico than SimCity. Although, yes, the island is small, but if they don't increase the population cap, then I wouldn't even mind.
  25. Tropico 5

Actually, looking at the 2nd to the last pic, there is some repitition to the buildings that I did not notice initially. I think those are the new condominiums, though it would be nice if Kalypso would diversify the variations each building type. One good note is that they made at least 200 buildings that are inspired from the last 200 years, so hopefully, there will be more variety. On another note, I hope they remove that temple that you use to attract tourist/extract artifacts. It's a Latin American themed, but not something you would see in the Caribbean.
