Not too long ago I came across a thread that had all the best practical mods, plugins, an so on. Now I can't find it. It included stuff like this....

 

+ Utility Upgrade where you could cover whole map with no pipes just one water tower

+ Opera house Fix

+ Space Shuttle Fix

+ City Hall Fix

etc... etc...

 

Anyone know where that is?

Anyone know of some midrise and highrise coastal buildings for a warm beachy climate?  Also I am looking for some highrise hotels for a warm climate (balconies are a must).  I'm having trouble finding hotels that meet this criteria.  If it helps I'm going for a Gold Coast look:

I use the "Extra Cheats.dll" plugin's "Buildingplop" cheat to plop test lots I download to see if they show up correctly in game and to see if I am missing any Dependencies for them. But searching for a specific lot with it is sometimes cumbersome because sometimes a lot's file name is not the same as what the buildingplop cheat has in its database. Is there an add-on for this cheat that lets you search for a specific lot by typing in the name of the lot you are looking for?

That method is even harder for me as I could not even see the entries for the names of the content creators for the lot I am looking for. For example, using lotplop took me even longer to locate CSX_Dalene than when I search for it using Buildingplop.

 

I really wish there was a way to look for specific lots by typing its name to look for it.

Yes It doesn't matter what agricultural mods you have, this is a demand issue: demand stops when your population grows higher than 30.000. These irrigation sets can help you to increase the caps. (I plop several of them and when I have my farms, I usually demolish the ditches.)

That's strange then, plopping them doesn't do anything to my I-$ demand and they don't grow, either.

You should plop a lot, preferably those that raise the I-AG cap the most (some raise it by 5000, if I'm not mistaken). Plop, run the game, and keep on plopping until you see that the demand has risen

Anyone here know of a one size fits all pack that has a bunch of Commercial & Industry lots. I want to keep the maxis but I just want to have some variety. Looking to also replace the Industry completely as the Maxis Industry looks like total rubbish.

 

I have the Maxis blocker for the Industry. So I just need something for Industry that will give enough that I won't have to enable the Maxis Industry to add more variety to it. I thought I read somewhere there was an Industry Facelift mod or something of that sort.

 

Edit - I'm not looking for any sort of theme or care if they even match up. My goal is just to build as big as I can with variety so it doesn't look like a cookie cutter city.

As for your "one size fits all pack," there really isn't one -- it all depends on what you like, but you may want to look at madhatter106's content: lots of commercial in relatively large packs. IF you want even more variety search simgoober's content. He has TONS of it.

 

Industry

You indeed saw correctly. It is called the by TWrecks, as well as all of the expansions/addons.

 

If you really want to fix your problems of a cookie cutter city, the only way to is to simply download lots of content, from here, the LEX or foreign sites. The possibilities are basically endless.

I remember having a lot from the STEX that boosted RCI demand for every category when you plopped it. It was a 1x1 lot that had a tree in the center. I can't seem to find it.
