Sort of... The base texture used is not one of the default options for the Parks 205 set. I'm pretty sure the pathways in between were custom lots...

I've got a set of documents he did called "Sandstone Sidewalk and Base Texture Mod" attaching a picture from it

I'm not talking about the sidewalks. FYI, that mod is a part of the Sidewalk mod and on the STEX here:

In this case I'm referring to the white brick base texture, which has been used in combination with the parks 205 overlays in the screenshot. If you have Paeng's Texture pack v1.04 installed, find it in the LE under the ID 0xF5F844B9. However I don't know of any releases in that style, but if they did exist, they'd almost certainly be in the scrabble box. @tariely might be able to help, apart from having a legendary stash, she may have more familiarity than I here.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

Hello everybody,

Can someone help me ID these Haussmannian buildings? I am almost sure I've downloaded all the Paris buildings from STEX and LEX, plus another one or two from a german site, and I didn't find those 3 over there.

Edited: Forget #3, is Place Gabriel Peri seen from the back.

In this omnibus tutorial:

There is a linky for Some embankment/wall mods but since it just links back to itself I can't tell what the underlying code might have been like one can do with borked BBCode.

Here's a couple of pics from that thread:

Does anyone recognize the walls? I've made a bug fix post for all the updates I found for the other linkys, but this one is beyond me.

@rathefalcon Thanks! I copied your quote into the bug post. Now it'll be up to @Cyclone Boom how he wants to handle it when he gets time.

@Fatjuice Could it be NOB's LNG Plant? It seems that is the only one corresponding to this list in terms of job numbers

It could be, any idea where I could get the dependencies?

I'll try to find it, but I doubt I'll find it with ease.

EDIT: Just downloaded the Prop Pack from NOB, should be it.

A while ago I downloaded some seaport stuff somewhere (and that's the problem) and didn't pay attention - the file is called 'seaport.zip' and there is no readme included. And the lots have no name ingame. Not a single hint there to do a google research. And I don't rembember from where I got it - and I'm interested to use the included props in my next project.

Can you point me to the origin of these lots:

seaport.jpg

Also - if you know some interesting - not so much known - seaport stuff (not wmp and pegasus, shure I know them) - I would really appreciate.

Thank you! :*

Hi,

I'm looking for some small-ish construction sites, like nothing larger than 4x4. Quite an urban site as well. Thanks for any help.

Not shure what 'urban' means here - but if it's 4x4 and you know Lot editor just a little or Pim-X - I really recommend and like even to insist to get you those two prop packs:

https://www.toutsimcities.com/downloads/view/1592

https://www.toutsimcities.com/downloads/view/1882

You find everything in there - barriers, workers with jack-hammers, vehicles etc. etc. etc. It's maximum half an hour of work and you'll have a result that fits your need.

At least - I hope so.

Seems there is one little hint and I found this: http://tokitoko.hp.infoseek.co.jp/Seaport.zip however it is currently redirecting to a maint_portal page. I have no idea if that's the one you want but until the experts come along, it's a possibility. ;)

While I don't know any by size, you could try pasting each of these separately into Google and then see what each link has:

These look suspiciously like some lots @Dreadnought asked me to look at a while ago. NOB comes instantly to mind when I look at them. The lack of a name is likely because the Japanese characters can't be displayed on most PCs not specifically setup to do so.

Since you can mod though... you could open the files, find either the Name properties or LText files. Perhaps, you will see the Kanji (Japanese alphabet) and be able to copy/paste that into a web-based translator. It may help you track them down... of course they may all just say Seaport in Japanese too :P.

Thanks - that was the right hint. Again it's NOB. That's the second time I don't recognize his stuff anymore.

On his page: 海港 (And thanks to translation tool - this means 'Seaport')

Yo, Fantozzi --

YES -- @ rsc204 is quite correct -- those are "Nob" seaports.  They are small, and therefore, ideal for an oldish cargo dock in a small, out-of-the-way, little village.  You can open them in  "Lot Reader" and simply edit the name to something you recognize.

WARNING -- WARNING !!

ALL of those lots have an "automata" built in when Nob crafted them.  It is the "steamboat automata" -- a paddle-wheel-looking boat.  It will spawn hundreds of steamboats that will run around all over your map tile and drive you crazy.

YOU MUST open it in "Lot Editor", identify the prop on the lot containing the steamboat automata (there may be more than one per lot), and REMOVE the prop.

If you do not remove it -- YOU WILL BE SORRY !!

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

OFF TOPIC

Now you made me laugh. You know, I understand @rsc204s hurting, he expressed over here, completely. But than again ... to fight against chaos is like to fight the whole universe.

And those steamboats ... for a moment they reminded me of this ... as just plopping those lots to take a screenshot to ask here ... caused me a horrible steamboat invasion.

It's a custom region by @Allstillwell, but hasn't connected for more than a year, and never updated the map to the STEX. Your best chance could be to try and replicate it visually with the Terraformer.

Hi!  I was hoping someone could help me find these LNG tanks (and the  boat would be great, too) that I've been seeing in pictures:

AUYkSZZ.jpg

In the event that it's SOMY's set found here, and hopefully even if it isn't, does anyone know another location where I can find somy_industry 01 part 2, as it keeps encountering errors when I use 7-zip to decompress that particular .rar file?

@YumIt is SOMY's set as you suspected, but they are at page 9 instead of page 6

If you have trouble decompressing files with 7-zip, maybe try another program... I had a similar issue with another file a while back, solved it by switching to the standard windows version
