Hey, guys! I'm looking for an old ferry lot called the Basic Ferry Pontoon by CSGdesign. I know it was only available in the CSG exchange, and that went down, but I was wondering if anybody still had it.

Does anybody perhaps know from were those cranes are (not the boxes, the cranes - from where the boxes come, I know!) I have only the model files on my HD called crane-A and crane-B. Lots not original.

I spotted two wonderful blue buildings in the Baltic historicist style which I want to be sure I have, but I do not know their names.

The first was seen in Mańkowsky's Main Market Square, Cracow, on the winner's podium for the Realistic Recreation challenge.

The second was spotted in in a city journal post for Przymysk:  Wliczno/Centrum by Kuba on SimCity Polska.

I suspect both buildings come from SimCity Polska, but as many of that great site's BAT downloads pages' images have become broken over time, I cannot match these building images to their names.

Bear in mind that just adjusts the parameters of seeing them. To remove them entirely would require replacing the model for the automata with a blank or invisible model. I don't off hand know of such a mod, but if none exists, it wouldn't take me two minutes to whip one up for you.

See attached, that should do the trick, I've given the model an Null key. It's untested, so let me know, if that fails, I'll add a proper blank model, but it shouldn't be necessary.

:Edit: Seemingly this didn't work, but I never heard back so moved on. If you come across this and want the checkers gone, take a look here for a fix that does.

You mean the file from Three Rivers Region at SC4D? Yeah, I have that. Unfortunately it's seasonal. I've been looking into modding the file to become non-seasonal, but it's above my skill level.

The word seems to be  版权 (Bǎn quán) in chinese

My understanding was that SC China reposts stuff (with credit) because of the difficulty of many users not only in reading English or Japanese, but also to aid users in not having to bypass the government's censor filter, which is apparently very fickle and random, especially with videogames.

I think it works out, though, because you never see SCCN members posting here about bugs from files they downloaded from their own website. They seem to be very good about keeping things up to date or solving problems on their own.

Well, I'm only bothered because I don't see them "borrowing" enough of my mods.

Frankly, I think not having to give a crap about such concerns makes SCC more flexible in many ways. For example, I've wanted Gizmo's water flora for ages, now I have it too .
