There was an addon to the PEG Streams, that had little rapids in them (not just calm water), and i believe they had transitions to Tahoe and PEG-Ponds as well.

it might be this one

Volume 01 is available as well when you click the download button

Thanks to you both for trying. No i have the Turbulences and that's not what i was talking about. I seem to remember it was an add-on to PEG's streams and they may have been constructed by someone else. But basically it was PEG Streams with rapids instead of just calm water. And there were some larger lots that transitioned to Tahoe and PEG's Ponds.

Please anyone, keep looking. If you have it on your system, consider sharing it.

Before Pegasus shut his site down he was merging a lot of his stuff into like mega packs ... I know he did the streams

I'll go thru and check my downloads from SimPeg see if I've still got any of the old versions

Yes @tariely, that's it. I didn't find these in PEG's Streams 205 or 206. Are those that you have available for DL elsewhere?

Indeed, it is NOT in Paeng's STEX content. @CorinaMarie shouldn't we consider uploading it ?

I don't have a readme for it, so don't know about the deps, but surely Peg's stuff as for the Turbulences...  oh, eh, I can check, wait a minute !

working......working.......working......working.......

OK, here's a link, including a quick readme for the deps : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nydvpkhgc6s6ln1/AADSDu0-c1tk9_9NRlsKQdyEa?dl=0

Hi!

Paeng stuffs are still in progress. It's in the stash bag, it's under organization it will come soon, such as all the other contents with proper readmes and images. Don't worry, be patient, especially that this stuff contains 11 lots originally not only 4.

I have many things to sort out, and I have limited free time, but it will happen. And other legacy custodian uploads as well regarding lost far eastern and other stuffs.

OK, so @CorinaMarie, @tariely and @nathkel.

The lots on that picture are part of the Turbulences and Transitions Volume 01 and as@catty-cb already linked actually the Paeng Turbulences and Transitions Volume 01 is semi-officially and officially available on the download site of the vol. 2. It is under the download button, and in the description on the download site there is a working download link as well.

I modified the title to refer on both sets. I haven't uploaded the first version, someone did it back in 2017, but the title had not been changed since then.

I'm gonna update eventually the download page with the dependencies, the meantime you have to be careful and using the latest version (1.02) of the MTP SUPERPAK, which is avalaible here on STEX, because only that contains the gazebo model/prop. So if you are not sure which version you have, rather redownload the dependency pack again.

Downloaded and used in a game. Works perfect.

I would consider renaming the transitions title to Transitions or Addon, instead of Turbulences, as that applies to the "Volume 1" lots. It can be confusing if someone is looking for paeng's Stream to Pond to Tahoe transition pieces.

Thanks so much for you guys's hard work and bringing it back from the grave!

Hi everyone. I still have some @paeng files from the dead SimPeg site. They were file attachments in the forums and were not uploaded anywhere else. I would love to upload these but... there are always 'permissions' and stuff. Can any staff advise me? Thanks.

I have files like:

Mars_Rocks_MMP

paeng_SpirulinaVats

paeng Urban Scrapyard

There are probably more.

Hi @Hellken!

Could you send them to me, please. @catty-cb and I are doing most of the Paeng Stash Bag recovering stuffs (she has the full permission of Paeng to take care of his SC4 belongings, I'm just the sidekick :D :D ). I started uploading them in an organized way with proper readme and images a while ago, but it was on hold due to other commitments, but I'm gonna return to the project very soon. I have the Mars Rocks MMP, but I'm not sure about the other two. If that Urban Scrapyard is based on @prepo's model, then it's already been uploaded officially last year. But I think it's something different.

Thanks anyway!

In terms of content lost from the original source, as staff we fully support these to permissibly be restored to the STEX in good faith terms.

It's something @CorinaMarie and I thoroughly believe is the right thing to allow. The main justification being since the files are no longer available unbeknown to the creator, and that's fully in conformity with their wish for them being restored here, matching the initial desire to share with the community. That way people can readily access them again nowadays how they once were from yesteryear, including with description and images.

As @Tyberius06 said and these can be shared as new STEX files, from where the ownership can be changed to the original author if they had an account here.

I'm on my phone about to head off to work so linking is out .... if anyone takes a look over at the city-builder club .... missing simpeg files are over in the files section and all the forum attachments that Paeng had on his computer is in a post over there .... think its called  paeng's scrabble box ... which reminds me I need to upload his tutorials to the omnibus.

Hey everyone. Thanks for the info.

Download the attachment. There could be more. Most of these are probably available on the STEX. But please check because some could be new.

Hi Hellken

Thanks for the attachment, a few are definitely over in the STEX, some of the others are over here

But others are new so thank you for doing the zipped file  :thumb:

As for your other question re the PEG CSK Scows Prop Pack and PEG CSK2 Scows Prop Pack, the first one is actually in my club here

https://community.simtropolis.com/files/category/63-files/

Looking at the missing list here

its listed on it, but certainly looks like it was the older CSK version that was missing not the CSK2 upgrade, will double check they are both the same files and then delete the club version.

-catty

EDIT: Just downloaded the files and there are differences

PEG CSK2 Scows Prop Pack.zip (647.6 kB)

PEG_CSK2_Scows_2.05_SU.zip (636.6 kB)

I have deleted the version in the club, the differences in the size was down to the fact that the club version was three files (the DAT, picture and readme), whereas the file on the STEX is a single executable file

Hello guys,

I haven't played the game in a really long time, so forgive me if I'm sorta ignorant. I've never touched the SPAM mod, but as I've read, it fixes the agriculture demand in-game. But my question is that is everything in the SPAM, including the only listed dependency, which is the MTP Super Pack, is that all? Cuz I was under the impression that the lots that grew in SPAM were modded lots and so I was expecting a bigger dependency list.

If that's all the download description denotes, then I have no reason to think otherwise.

Do bear in mind that the bulk of SPAM as a mod involves new Buildings/Lots for Farm and Fields. In addition to modifications of certain properties from the game to alter how aspects of farm growth are handled.

In that regards, the amount of Props/Textures you'd need isn't actually terribly high, the set is probably slightly larger than in the base game. Not to mention, the MTP Super Pack is a bunch of previously released packs all merged into one, so actually quite a bit of content.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

I'm starting to dip my toes back into SC4 after a bit of a hiatus and I would like to finally start messing around with some of the PEG projects.  The problem is that I'm currently, and was the last time I tried, completely overwhelmed by everything available and I'm having a hard time figuring out what the different numbers mean on the kits.  For example, is CSK2 newer or better than the original CSK or are they just a different set of objects?  Can they work together?

Are there any primers available on where to start or is all that information in the download?  Thank you in advance!

I recently learned that the Maxis seaports just don't work at all (i.e they don't relieve industrial demand caps). Do the PEGPROD ports do? I quite like them and would rather not bust my ass and waste an afternoon hunting down the dependencies for BSC Functional Seaports.

I've a question and confused about this PEG Pine Trails.

It looks like an older version and PEG Mountain Trails readme says to remove

** UPGRADING THE TRAILS **
The new Mountain Trails files will be installed in the Mountain Theme Pack Folder.
You must remove the old version files from the Pine Trails folder.  If that folder
contains other lots as well, retain the folder until those lots are updated.
 Otherwise, just delete the folder.

** These lots require the installation of the PEG Mountain Theme Pack. **

Currently under my C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins\PEGPROD\Pine Trails

I have 2 folders -  Extender and Trail Head

In root directory I have PEG_PineTrails_306.dat

If I just delete the whole Pine Trails folder, what about  Pine Trail Head ?

Is that only specific to this set and wont work with the PGE Mountain Trails ?

The dependencies for Trail Head is the PEG Pine Trails

The PEG-MTP_Mountain_Trails_-_Extender and PEG-MTP_Mountain_Trails_-_Trail_Head will be uploaded in the coming weeks/months. When the original SIMPEG site went down, there was a huge effort to rehost ASAP those couple of hundreds of files, which were never uploaded here to STEX. I have currently approx 40 uploads, which was not uploaded from the PLEX collection to the STEX including those 2 Mountain Trail uploads.

I am interested in checking out all of Pegasus' Industrial Waterfront content, but I'm noticing that alot is not officially supported and the dependency links are dead.  Am I imagining this or have I read somewhere that much of Pegasus' waterfront stuff is rife with bugs when concerning functionality?  I'm curious if I should go down this path or veer off in another direction.
