A little more progress on my plaza lot. Unfortunately, I think I've reached the prop limit on this as props are disappearing when placed in the game. Some trees and most of the people are gone. I may have to change the trees to semi-seasonal instead of full seasonal and/or remove some of the vehicles.

Or maybe make it modular. Break the plaza into smaller pieces to avoid the prop limits problem and enable some flexibility and customization

Yo, guys --

Since the NEW YEAR Holiday falls on Monday, this year, it gives me an excuse to party like an animal from Friday evening until the wee hours of Monday morning.

And since my birthday falls in the same wee hours of Monday – it’s an even better excuse to party like I did 50 years ago – while I still can !!

While I recuperate from fine dining, some ballroom dancing (very old fashioned – but romantic), and a bit of the “bubbly” – I will open my birthday presents as the “Parade Of Roses” makes its way along Colorado Blvd in lovely downtown Pasadena.

I made a DLL to experiment with the budget simulator. It adds a new item to the following UI, try and spot it.

I have not tested to see if I can get an entry with a slider in the expenses section, but I think it should be possible. I can't think of any mods that would benefit from the ability to add entries to the budget UIs, but there may be some ideas I haven't thought of.

You are restricted to using the existing dialogs that Maxis added, I think each budget item group (Transportation, City Beautification, etc.) is tied to a specific dialog.
