I'm not quite sure about these. They don't quite feel right to me. What do y'all think?

Going back to more boring little wall to wall buildings, an auto body shop. Working on more detailed texturing and interior immersion, anyone know where I can find Gmax models of vehicles I can merge into this so it looks like one is in the garage having work done to it?

IMHO, I would change just two things: get the cars out of the alley, and tone down the roof colours, to something more brown than red.

It would be easier to judge seeing what real references you are using, though.

Here is the real-world reference. I agree with the roof suggestion. I'm not sure about removing the cars, but I think I'll find some cars that are neutral colors.

Touching on a couple of things that were mentioned earlier in the thread...

  • I think the darkest and reddest roofs probably need to be toned down. None of the roofs from the Google Earth screenshot you shared are that dark or vibrant. Roofing materials rarely retain that kind of intense color, because the sunlight gives them a washed out look.
  • The parking area  might benefit from being a little bit wider. It doesn't look like there's enough room for the cars to maneuver. Alternatively, you might want to move or replace the gate at the front of the lot. The gate doesn't line up with the driveway right now, so if someone drove through the gate, they would crash into one of the parked cars.

One last note -- the tree props are a little too close to the buildings, and the trunks of the trees are colliding with the building roofs. It might be helpful to add one more tile to the width of the lot so that you can expand the parking area and then give a little more breathing room for the plants/trees at the sides of the building.

The modeling is superb! I agree about the roofs, some, not all, are a bit too intense. About the cars and trees, you could try giving the lot one extra tile of width, that should be enough to separate the trees from the buildings and avoid clipping; it will also give you some extra space on the alley. You can easily do that by opening Reader and changing the Lot Size property, then you can go back to the Lot Editor or PIM-X and you'll just have to move things over to accomodate everything to the new lot size.

Also, if the cars still seem to big for the alley after doing this, you could consider changing the SHK ones for Girafe's

You might know this already, but if you check a dataview (such as "fire hazard") before saving you won't get the "featured" blackened streets in the network on the transportation map in the region view.

I kind of like the darker roof, so I made another version with mostly the darker roof. I could upload 1 or both versions if y'all like. I could also go back to Gmax and try again.
