I'm sure this is what you're going for, but WOW, it looks VERY Japanese! I love it!

Making a highway system for my new region:

<snip>

Looking good! The Cloverleaf is a dated, but reliable layout. I must ask, though, isn't that the harbour of Rotterdam?  :???:

Thanks :).

Personally I dont like cloverleafs, but it is a simple 4 way interchange. Other interhchanges with 4 directions don't look very well in Simcity 4 imo. And yes it is the port of Rotterdam, added some extra land and changed a few shorelines.

Rotterdam is one of my favorite cities, It is only like 160km from here so :)

Working on updating the Maxis mansion lots...

<snip>

Brilliant Lotting! But that particular house looks pretty (sub)urban. I think a different house would look better on such a rural lot. :)

I'll be making a set with all the maxis mansion lot sizes:

4x6

4x5

4x4

4x3

3x4

3x3

3x2

2x3

2x2

So yes, there will be urban versions too :)

Very cool SimCoug. The mansions needed a rework. You are providing just the one they need!

I'm trying to tackle the larger lots first (which take the most time). I'm probably about a quarter of the way done with the big suckers. Once I'm done with them, I imagine the smaller lots will go rather quickly. But to answer your question, probably not for a while :)

Well, all good things come to those who wait, I guess. :)

Completely remaking New Duveland's largest city, Tasbury, which is heavily based/inspired on Melbourne. :P Here's the current progress of the CBD

That's a really big and dense CBD, it looks good though. And a lot of GLR stations!

Not bad at all. Your overall choice of BATs is impressive. I would like to suggest you to use NWM, though. Looks like You're using Maxis Avenues all around as it is. I know they support tram networks and NWM doesn't, but you could have RD-6 or Ave-6 in some places at least. They will definitely help your future once people start moving in. Also, it's miscellaneous, but some greenery would be a nice touch, too.  ;)

Thanks! Yeah those avenues without trams will eventualy become NWM in most places, as for the parks, there will be a huge park to the east right next to the edge of the CBD as well as a large, open riverfront areas directly south of the CBD. It will be very green in the future, don't worry. :P

Pretty balanced cities imo, and realistic . Very nice!

If you don't mind, and if this is the proper place to ask, in these last pic, the small buildings are R$? Where can i get those? Also, in Olimpic City, what is those two triangular shape condos? They look damn nice :)

I am working on this downtown. Besides the transit/rail system (i really really should try to use NAM decently, and i will probably work on it), what really botters me is the comercial $$ buildings which are very similar to each other. How can i change it? Do you guys can recomend some Mod or some collection of bats (or lots i don't really know which term is the correct one) to change this?

This city was very big, is a large tile, had i guess some 60-70 skyscrappers in the middle, surrounded by R$$ and C$$, but i realized that this amount of skyscrappers is just not what i want from the game right now (can't deny that  well placed like in the previous poster region they may as well look fantastic),so i've decided to change it. Of course i will loose like 300-400k people in the meanwhile, but  whathever xD.

That's a nice start metasmurf, however, you really want to consider making them mulit-fsh textures in order to counteract the visible tiling / repetition. Maxis' farm field textures are actually multi-fsh. To demonstrate:

    Ordinary single fsh textures.

    vrtxtr%20base%20single.jpg

Multi-fsh textures, each texture has 8 variations.

These are quite interesting. I'm not a fan of the "skyscraper-only" cities, but they are interesting nonetheless.

    かたじけない。

The small buildings are definitely R$$. They can be found on Hide-Inoki (http://hide-inoki.com/bbs/phpbb2/viewforum.php?f=7&sid=4ca9aa1689a7074ed20ef7c88148db90) (I'm linking the forum too so you can see more great stuff.)

As for the triangular shaped buildings (those are actually 4 diagonal buildings) :P :

    Now, more werk:

Ii Naomasa. I'm using him for the next update, which is scheduled sometime next week. Next week will also be very important for me. It'll be the official start to the Holidays, it will also be the end of the Avatar Series and the end of Gunshi Kanbei.

This photo-editing. Each image takes me about two to 4 hours to make, given the immensity and scale of the update.
