Don't be afraid of the diagonal bridges!  Play around with them in a tile you're not using to get the hang of it and then go to work in your city.  Just be sure to have all the terraforming done before you install the diagonal bridge controller.  Terraforming doesn't work all that well once the controller is installed.  Once you get your bridge built, remove the temp files and you're good to go!

Just posting some mostly finished work on my latest town New Port City.

East train station hub for GLR and passenger rail networks (more below):

East residential is separated by the passenger rail and station as well as an industrial rail line that curves around a pond levels above:

Sunken rail station which handles the most passenger rail traffic is next to the east/west to southbound freeway interchange:

A little on ramp that gets a lot of love from the commercial/ office area of southern New Port, also roundabout: 

would show more but some things need to be remodeled in the future so I'll wait until then.

@Goldman Sachs If you make a decent prop pack variety of those vehicle shells I can use them to finally complete a project I started 3 years ago. I made a few but if you make them it would save a lot of time.
