It's actually 4 airports acting as one. Each built in the corner of a city tile to form one giant airport amalgamation. 4 terminals, 4 cargo hubs. That's why it's taken me so long to hook everything up- many many roads and rail lines are needed to service 1 airport, let alone 4.

What is good when you have nothing to say is that you can always pretend to listen. Anyway it does not prevent to think!

    CATALUNYA ODD BAT´S 2 !

Two Bat´s one displaced and another wich will crash your game !!!

Busy, afther below bat I had some building on the City of Barcelona wich got lost to a bat wich crashed to desktop !

Earlier, I had a odd office bat on a residential zone, today I have another odd bat a supposed medius  R$$$ large residential with a density of a country estate. This isn´t worn as there´s a landmark version, but the growable R$$$, little to frequent poped up. Fortunaly, recognized and done with before it might become a recuring oddity, waisting my building time !

    c7pjzsd.jpg

Chalet Daguel  http://descargas.capitalsim.net/?sitio=csc&descarga=1867 Very nice, but for a innercity totaly out of touch !

Second Bat wich crashed my game to desktop !!!

Today I tried a lott of the bat´s to search for the bat wich probably crashed my game !

    UvLaUyV.jpg

All above bat´s are Ok no crashes when running the game, nice display of what is available !

This is at Capital Sims the LBT Restaurant Vip bat wich you can see at bellow link. Don´t install it it´s crash your game imidiately

    !

    Update important info III

Today I discovered there was a probable second set of this Bat installed into a sub folder. I noticed today that reference menu still was there, so I looked up the plugins folder and discovered this second set. That might resulted they where using the same Id. As I could see there where different file names, can´t recall them but I reinstalled the Bat and it didn´t crash the game so that might be the cause so look out for similair bat´s installed into different places into your plugins folder. So I appologize for raising attention to this is issue wich might be the result of some probabley error by me at installation !

    Sincerely yours,

    Kschmidt

    Tonight on Diagnosis Murder

    diagnosismurder-0007.jpg

So, last Christmas, I had finished up all my stray projects, did my yearly plugin inventory, and didn't really have any ideas. So I made 2 gigantic maps. The first was going to be my big winter region. I got about a third into it and realized why nobody else does them. So I moved over to the second map. 240 medium sized tiles, no theme, just whatever random ideas I come up with. So, I'll be torturing y'all for the rest of the year with this....

    Behold, Isadora

My goal now is to create some sandy area but since it will be a small area, I plan to use JENX texture plops rather than refurbish the entire texture folder.

However, these brushes still need some adjustment as they tend to have falloff opacity towards the edges, creating unpleasant "overlapping zones" when applied "as is", as pictured below...

    image.png.9971e4f15b0fd68536fcbeb692865527.png

So generally, my goal is to simply give these plops a full 100% opacity throughout the entire radius. This way, I hope, the texture will be uniform throughout the entire area with no visible overlaps present.

In order to adjust JENX plops, I use GOFsh app, which is largely an uncharted territory for me. *;) However, I managed to successfully alter and then insert modified opacity files into the JENX core files, so now I know at least that I am doing this correctly. *;) We'll see how it plays out.

To get the most density from those beach brushes, they should be plopped 1-2 tiles from each other. I also don't recommend installing any water utilities before using them, so you can see what your doing. I tried reassigning all the brushes to the Parks category, but messing with the set(Poseidon) causes it not to work.

I used them on this map, as is, and got great opacity.

Hmm, that indeed looks quite fine actually, so this is the unmodded, original plop? Could you also post a non-processed screenshot for a closer look? The 1-2 tile range seems quite restrictive though...

What would be the goal of such reassignment? (Apart from obvious organizational clarity that puts landscaping items in the landscaping menu where they belong).

The "SimCity 4" vanilla Opera House is the most evil thing in existence. Avoid.

I usually put down my transit(and anything else) before using them. I try to keep a 2 tile distance away from rail and roads, to avoid getting it all over them, unless I'm intentionally trying to bury them for a transit-less map.

Almost everything in the Water Menu carries a range mask, which makes it difficult to see what your doing with these textures. Just visually easier to see your work. I'm not into squinting.
