I suppose this is the thread for work in progress.

Started working on the towers. Considering the poly count already I really don't want to model the interior. I'm gonna try to work with textures only.

For reference the entire front and back walls are curtain walls so this will be complicated to have a realistic texture with the good sc4 angle.

Recent, since I created this I wanted to continue, I Unfortunally had a crash  loading  this tile. Some bat causing, slow investigate, whatbyou see. What, questionmark systematikly test groups of bats, plop save, reload.. First basic civics and most roads and zoning in place. Very sad this was the second build, first crashed while building. So try, if Ok backup and continue searching !

I HAVE GOOD NEWS......

We are one step closer to beginning publication of the IMPERIAL DOCKYARDS: CUXHAVEN !

"AP" has started work on updating and organizing the prop packs for series "HISTORIC NAVIES - 1900" !!  And I have started a complete read-thru of the CJ text and a review of the illustrations.  I'm still not sure when we can begin publication -- but we are a little closer -- and that's "progress".

I had absolutely no idea how much time and effort this project was going to involve -- and no concept of how enormous it would become -- but we "carry on".

Here's a little something from the "Bremerhaven" map (the 3rd installment in the series).

This is the protected cruiser SMS Hansa (1898) taking on fresh provisions and ship's stores.  (The mooring dolphins, cruiser, lighters, and paddle tug are all scratch-built by the talented @AP.)

AND -- I forgot to mention -- the paddle tug and lighter are "ORTHO".  The other two are DIAGONAL !!

LBT VIP RESTAURANT - Reload !

Warning`: Avoid this BAT, Crashed my game to desktop Twice !

Some time ago I reported about this file by Heblem that it crashed my game. This week I worked on my Lloret build and I discovered this Bat did again crash to desktop. The zone where I displayed aswell crashed aswell afther revisit, so I replaced the tile with a older one. So until fixed don´t use this Bat in any of your gameplay. What causes this crash, error research continues but this bug has been eliminated !

Hope someone can have a look at this file whats wrong as its a LBT team bat. Some other LBT bat´s I have where fine, so I am puzzled about !

Important information update :

Today Tyberius provided me with a fixed version of this BAT. Resolved the crash and finaly play without wories about for now !

This is Lloret de Mar as it is now !

I believe it has been updated for quite a while now. Have you downloaded it recently and most importantly WHERE did you download it from? If I recall correctly both xxdita and myself provided a fix for this upload over at SC4D LEX; the latest version which has been available since late June 2022 for sure was not crashing as it was tested several times and the fixes were provided because we got the reports about the crashes. However if you got this from the Capitalsim site, that's out of our reach and that still has the old modding which can cause crahses.

Try this version please what I shared here @kschmidt. If it's working fine, I'll upload it here to STEX in the coming days otherwise it's gonna be later available on SC4Evermore eventually...

Thank you, It was the Capital sims one ! Wasn´t aware, never thought there would be a fixed one ! Tested, just a moment ago and it works fine. End of the line, their might be addditional files from Camp Sims wich might be updated elswhere, maybe stumble on one more later, well see !

there is a rock mod that makes rock textures look like jelly beans    might want to try that with the ho ho trees (sugar overload!)

Ah, jellybeans, licorice and candy corn. The tricks in Trick or Treating ! Anything like these "rock" mods that clog up my mmp menu and resemble chewed bubblegum or the aftermath of a spitball fight-

Catalunya Gerona + St Jordi Desvalles !

Little landscaping and reperation at St Jordi Desvalles and Gerona agriculture expansion !

St Jordi Desvalles lost highway ramps reconstructed and a new river valley added to enhance this mostly flat boring tile !

Gerona had to be reconciled wich destroyed unexpectidely all bridges, except the RHW highway ?  Repairing and added some agriculture south of the still small city center !
