I've been giving some attention to my wealthy neighbourhood as of late. I'm going for a more US-like approach, with more developed highways, big towers in the centre and sprawl in between, but keeping a significant amount of the mid-density style that characterises the entire city. Because I used a lot of diagonals, I'm stumbling on some repetition issues, or the typical jagged facades that the game tends to cause.

My main issue now is to plot a route for that railway. I guess I'll keep going and cross the highway, maybe even make a small strip of high tech warehouses in there.

Now I present to you another database project for SC4 players since that major corporation spreadsheet. Hope this is more useful for community this time.

AN ATTEMPT

TO LOCATING & LINKING KNOWN SC4 BATs IN GOOGLE MAP.

(as much of them as possible)

This project celebrates our modding community all around the world since the inception of the game. There is just so many of them replicate a real place is possible.

Here is a sneak peak of the map (as shown).

Southeast Asia countries (78 BATs)

Suggestions to improve the browsing experience is welcome, via reply or DM.

So far, that is how many maps I have created for this project. The maps is created by regions and some major cities. The number of BATs in each map ranged from 30-something to near one hundred.

A formal forum post will be made around mid-January, maps will be release in phrases throughout 2022.

Great project! Are you also including BATs of buildings that existed at one time, but have since been demolished? What about BATs that combine real buildings from different places?

Yes (if the site and building can be identified, Example: Both former WTC and modern WTC can be found in ST) and yes (there are links that lead to multiple buildings)

Also, preview of progress on Boardwalk 2, Building 3: corner ABC Store.  Because nothing screams Hawaii or some other American Pacific Ocean paradise quite like one of these.  Still need to finalize texture selection and mapping.

Three Japanese gas stations: Cosmo, Idemitsu, and Jomo. Due to the popularity of the combini in Japan, gas stations mostly have repair shops and sell few convenience items. Jomo rarely exists in Japan now, due to Eneos-Jomo merger, but it lives on forever for SC4 now. There is still some work to do before I release them. 

In the USA, there is a Cosmo in Honolulu, randomly, that also works on Japanese cars.

The lot design allows these to all be clustered together

These are actually better, they don’t have the gigantic amounts of parking that most American ones do.
