Woww! Matt, the neon part is so wonderful, I have to consult you with it even I may needn't it in the Castle, whereas I'd better do that in another thread without ruining the moment here.*:D

I'm sure this time it won't look like a cake.

No, it still looks like a cake. Just not a lop-sided one.

@Raymond7cn, so you're going to make Minas Tirith as one piece? That's a serious project! Can't wait to have a taste of your "cake" :D

It's called a Trebuchet, the grey patch is the piece that holds the projectile that is being launched typically a large rock or eventually as has happened in the real world, body parts.  The flap is in it's open position to be loaded, works where one end of it(one of the ropes opens to allow the release of the projectile.

Sorry Raymond7cn  I started looking for the castle I was thinking of, thought it was made by Paeng but not sure he might have just done the tutorial using it. Basically though it is a large castle it was on an overhanging lot allowing you to terraform up and around it to make it look like it fits on a hillside.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Long causeway

When I saw people who used my Cutaway Mod in their beautiful CJ or somewhere, I did feel sorry for the delay of making various version of it. It should be able to suit to more Terrain and waters, I just couldn't stop after I fallen in love with modeling, I couldn't stop due to afraid of forgetting some new knowledge which just grasped. Anyway, I'm definitely going to do it someday! So beautiful there! Haljackey.

Sincerely,

The whole thing is a trebuchet, a kind of catapult. So you can call it catapult. Unless you are francophile .....*;)
But I assume you mean the box full of dirt. This is the counterweight ... a box full of dirt.....*:D

Thanks a million philforhockey51, You are such a warmhearted gentleman, I will definitely consult you about the overhanging parts after the main modeling finished. and Thank you @SIM-ple Jack-@Terring @WolfZe@Handyman for your thorough explanations, Now I understand how to say that in English. I will come back with more progress of it, I know it's hard there, But I don't frighten, since I'm a newbie.*:D

I am currently working at the Hamburg Museum of Work.
The Museum of Work in Hamburg-Barmbek has made the change of life and work its main theme over the past 150 years. The exhibitions present topics such as the effects of industrialization and the changes it has triggered in social, cultural and economic areas. The museum is an anchor point of the European Route of Industrial Culture (ERIH).

The museum consists of 5 buildings, all of which are used for different cultural purposes and are located on the site of the former factory of the "New-York Hamburger Gummi-Waaren Compagnie" in Barmbek.
Here the former boiler house and today's museum workshop. 3x2

I am currently working on this building. I don't like the modern part at all.
I once marked the painted, gray areas in green. The glass surfaces in red.
The whole thing also has dark gray window frames.
I've tried a few textures but it always looks dreary and bleak.
Anyone have an idea for textures?

If you are able to get hold of a copy of Max and install BAT4MAX I would suggest doing so, you are obviously highly skilled in 3D building and for buildings like this Max is perfect for the materials you are going for.
