There is a discussion on another thread about ferries, and I realised that I hadn't made a basic passenger ferry yet.

Also, I've made it in such a way that the one lot is compatible with your favourite sea-wall set, even some of the more obscure ones:

It should be released soon after some more testing....

5 brands will be featured so that you can decide which one you would like in your maps. Basically it will be a Do It Yourself fuel depot. From 1x1 to as big as a large city tile.

Drent is rather large for its location, outshining its neighbors Lake Platinum and Mount Steel in population and economic activity.

 

It enjoys a most placid placement downstream of Lake Crystal , and upstream of the confluence of the Crystal (northeast side of the town) and Frost (west side or upper part of the view).

 

The town has grown considerably over the years, but still maintains a rugged atmosphere owing to its great distance from the grand metropolitan centers of the Kingdom.

 

 

Grand snowcapped summits provide a lustrous framing, alternating with the deep valleys of greenery and small waterfalls bubbling  from the glaciers and snowmelt.

 

 

Development holds promise for Drent, as there are two irregular city blocks set aside for parks.

@WolfZe Very good idea, religions such as orthodox Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, aren't nearly as well represented in most communities as catholic/protestantic Christianity. It looks well, too, although the roof might look even better if some of the boards looked a bit more weathered than others, but that's probably just me.

Working on the water mask for my 1:1 map of Quebec City. I decided to try something different and pull a historical map of the city from 1776 to see where the waterline and shallows were before the waterfront was built up. Eventually I'd love to do something similar for New York, but I'm not tackling that just yet. My next project is going to be the Southern California coast with a sea level dropped 650 meters.
