Hey everyone, I some help.

Sometime in the last couple years, I added a new sidewalk texture that ended up overriding the light grey airport ramp texture. Does anyone recognize it? I've been searching for a while and cant seem to remember.

I don't generally use the over-rides, so it's a guess, but could it be one of CP's scilt or moonlight mods?

I may be dense -- but I'm not familiar with this particular aircraft.  My memory does fail me on the rare occasion...

It resembles the Focke Wulf 200 Condor. 

And partly what is confusing me is that I do not recall the Japanese ever producing a four-engined heavy bomber.

Please explain, Will Robinson.  Does not compute -- does not compute......

Sorry for the double-post but the texture ID you're looking for should be between 0xb113c6f0 to 0xb113c710. Found in AC Mega Textures Vol.1.

Obviously, my area of expertise lies in "dreadnought" battleships -- but that explains my total lack of knowledge on this aircraft.  Only 6 prototypes......

That looks like the Sheraton Clayton Plaza!  Which actually just closed for a modernization.

Added some new stuff to the prop pack and fixed some bugs as well. When you make hundreds of props at once some are bound to have issues, but everything is good now!

I heard they are replacing the windowed sides with another two blind sides for energy optimisation.

@pclark06: I'm not only referring to pixel resolution when I say that this might be one of your sharpest roof textures yet!

@Goldman Sachs: TBH, I think the bare teak deck looks a bit too much like "Hey, make sure to pack your sun lotion, we're going on a trip!", whereas the second version with the painted deck has that war look. It's not a pleasure yacht after all. Please don't get me wrong, that wood material is beautiful. Absolutely drool worthy. I just don't feel it's the perfect look for this kind of ship.

So I've been away from SC4 for a while- I will be finishing off Cindersville. In the meantime I was exploring the Arden tree controller and messing around with terraforming. I ended up creating an area which is loosely based around Thirlmere Lake, and the surrounding hills and mountains, in the Lake District (England). I'll be posting more pictures in my next CJ entry tomorrow, but for now here are some pictures of the earthworks.

The mountain on the bottom-right is inspired by Helvellyn; England's third highest mountain!

 

Working the erosion tool and mountain tool to create gullies! Next step is to MMP the scree slopes!

 

I made good use of the mesa tool to create the mound-like mountains and crags so often seen in the Lake District.

 

Thirlmere Lake is the centre-piece of this city tile. I will also be working on creating several different river/stream systems which run into Thirlmere Lake.

 

It took almost an hour to MMP the lake's shoreline!

 

And lastly here's the side of a crag with trees encroaching, from the top and bottom, upon the rock.
