The ferry station project will be put on ice. As you can see in the pictures, there are rendering problems and I can not find the mistake. In the preview everything looks fine but if I export then I get display errors. (yellow box). I've searched for hours and tried but now my patience is over and I'll do something else first.

Export with Error

I wonder if you can confidently take those wires/poles out of the model without people noticing since it's not, something people are going to notice and is secondary to the actual model itself. At least that's my opinion.

Have I already thought about it but that would be the last solution

I was about to say the same like pclark06. I think those wires are really nice details (by the way this concept and the details on this model seem to me one of your bests. I wouldn't even complain this time about the baked in base textures.), but the model itself would be perfect without them either. So I would go with a no wire version easily.

Here is the last of the fuel barges are promised. SM2 Gulf Gas Station Barge This one is the biggest of the 3 I made.

Still a lot of details to do therefore WIP alert!!

Uh... that's some really beautiful work! I love the colours of that model, but are you sure about the US flag? I mean, I don't mind after all, one of my neighbours has a flag-pole in their front garden and they've been changing the flags in every two months. Now it's norvegian, but I've seen Australian, US, French and UK flags on that pole in the last couple of years... :)
Anyway these recent fuel service station barges are awesome! And I can't wait the UFO stuffs to be released ;)

@WolfZe Make the wires black and try again.

@Tyberius06 Uh that is just a place holder for the flag color. I found what I was looking for that space and it is a checkered race pattern.

PS I'm not even American lol

I exported them successfully :P

Glad you were able to overcome the problems. Such models are in very short supply and as usual your moddeling and textures are top notch. I'll be adding these to my fleet as soon as they leave the shipbuilder's yard, er the Lot Editor ;).

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

@WolfZe  This looks rather time consuming.  Thanks for undertaking this.  This looks great so far.

@Goldman Sachs

Could I tempt you to look into doing the SMS Baden or the SMS Hindenburg ??  *:kitty:

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !
