I can see Science World (Expo/(Space) Center), BC/(GM) place, the Marine Building, the HRM Planetarium and city museum/archive, the Aquatic Center, Anchor Point (where I lived once),  and the Park hill Hotel.  Harbor Center would be an interesting landmark to get in there.

what texture pack you use on the highways up top?

I was wondering about that too.... thought it might be RHW.

I'm also curious about those seawalls.... *:D

The textures for that highway are:

And the seawalls are NBVC's Marinas: this one is the main pack but there are several:

Working on the city where the majority of transport will be along pedmall.  Including tram-on-pedmall, subway under, and underground rail!

I was trying JENX Poseidon effects on a test tile adjacent to my working test tile in a sandbox region. Duly admired them, noticed that the coloured waterfalls seemed to have a bug (the coloured light stays on after the plop piece has been erased), but I'm not going to use that effect anytime soon ; the rest is fine although some of the waters lacks finesse, but hey. So I took notes and quit without save, to go back to my usual working tile. Lo and behold it was raining, or more accurately snowing, green light.(I had only tried the green-lit waterfall). It was even more noticeable when the visual effects were on medium and not on high. With no JENX Poseidon effects in the plugins folder. In my usual test tile where I had not tried them. Wow. Talk about Persistence of Vision. Or contamination ?

So here it is :Green Holiday Snow. I don't know how to make a movie with SC4 screen captures, so it is not animated here, but I can tell you it's pretty... I just hope it won't do that in another, unused, tile of that sandbox region -- or another region ! I should check...

These green dots generally indicate a radiactive contamination of the city. I'm not even joking. Do you have perhaps plopped the nuclear power plant or the research center?

Even weirder: with savefile corruption, you can even get those radiation sparkles without real radiation present...

@monkeywater I have used a lot of tram on pedmall and I've yet to come across anything but straight tram on pedmall. So when I need other pieces I use the standard tram pieces and use standard pedmall to skirt around those pieces because they don't allow pedestrian traffic. See pic below. I am very interested to know if there is another options as well, but this is how I do it now.

Yeah thats how I do it too.  How did you get the residential on the pedmall? I don't see any FLUPs hidden around there...

@monkeywater The link below will explain most of my current strategies. There is nothing about trams specifically, but it does explain how I do my residential areas. I didn't mention that I have made a flups pedmall override to remove the air grills. It can be a little bit flaky but I just live with that for now, it's on my list to go back and fix someday. The tram pieces can be a pain but I find I use the tram, mostly, in high density areas so I can get away with doubling up on the side walk and it doesn’t look to bad. I would like to hear if you are using any tricks I missed.

The post is about halfway down the page.

And the fact that is perfectly W2W makes it fantastic for a High Street station!!!

So, if I understand correctly, there will be a whole set of railway station in the STEX (or LEX) future ? *;)

Whoa, Matt - all your stations are so beautiful! You're really on a roll, man. *:thumb:

You know what, that last station made me wonder if it would be possible to have the glass-roofed platform part (or some other platform-only section) in a very generic version as an overhanging prop so we could assemble multi-track stations, longer platforms and whatnot... *scratches head*

Multiple elevated platforms with more thand two trake are a commodity, most are two track combining several always require street access. Specialy dagonal versions; modular they look lik odd. Combined platform stations are much nicer, unifying it nistead of diving things !
