@Belfastsocrates I don't come here often, IRL keeps me insanely busy... but you're free to upload those walls. In fact, I'd obligate you to, if you don't mind. I can't find the files myself. More than a few have requested them.

You're wish is my command @Bipin :)

I'll see about uploading this weekend.

Interestingly enough I actually removed that bridge yesterday.  Changed the whole entrance to the airport so that obstacle is gone now!

As far as the control tower, I honestly couldn't tell you.  I've had it for probably close to 8 or 9 years and couldn't tell you who made or where I got it.

Part of AC's props I think, it was never lotted but i think i would when the need arises.

Actually I found the control tower just before your comment, and it was lotted. These buildings are a part of an old airport pack which is still on STEX.

Koeln West exit tries to relieve traffic flow comming from the North-Eastern part of Bern, main route mostly covers the south side of Bern and through route to the other RHW section !

Hello All!

I have been fine tuning Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and want to show some recent changes.  First, the terminals have been shifted.  The original Terminal 2 was demolished in favor of an expansion into the formerly unused Terminal 4.  Air Canada moved into the old International Terminal which has since been renamed to Terminal 1.  All US flights were moved to Air Canada's old terminal and has since been renamed Terminal 2.  Terminal 2 has 5 concourses.  The largest is E Concourse which was the formerly unused Terminal 4.  E Concourse now houses all international flights and is connected to T2 by way of underground train.  Terminal 5 has since been renamed to Terminal 3 (well it was supposed to be T3, accidentally typed 4) and houses all general aviation at YVR.  It's largest user is Air Canada Jazz and it has a separate checkpoint and terminal area for short-haul flights to US cities in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.

The cable stayed bridge within the approach path of Runway 36R has been removed.  Grant McConachie Way now runs along the coast of Sea Island instead of crossing into the City of Richmond and then doubling back into the airport.  A new bridge was constructed to carry traffic from Richmond into YVR.

Hope you like it!

I've been super busy and haven't had much time to work on New Camden, so it'll be a while.  But lately I've begun to feel dissatisfied with it.  I originally envisioned it as a city like one on the US East Coast, but it ended up getting too big.  I ended up removing a bunch of skyscrapers to make it look more realistic, and am now seeking dense mid-rises to fill in the gap.  I want this city to be big, but not New York or Chicago big.  That, and most of the residential areas just look awful.

Meanwhile, here's an unrelated picture:

I think it's the main deficit in terms of custom content right now. What I've done is to use polish W2W buildings as mid-rise filling material, as they aren't very characteristic by themselves and blend easily on different kinds of western cities. Nonetheless, it is almost unavoidable to end having repeated buildings here and there; in that case, fighting against the current is unwise; I gave up on that and now try to produce some deliberate repetition, which still looks realistic and covers more space.

Yo, guys --

I know this is a really, really, REALLY, dumb question --  *

But cut me some slack -- I'm getting old and would forget my own A** if it wasn't screwed on !!  *

CAP-BUSTERS are CUMULATIVE -- RIGHT ?? *:???:

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

(Harry Lime to Holly Martins...Graham Greene's THE THIRD MAN...1949)

@Dreadnought Yes cap busters are cumulative. Its how I fit 400K low density sims in a large tile - one park with 5000 cap relief and I use a lot of them.

Thank you much, sir.  I thought as much -- but the HD between my ears sometimes misplaces a file.  (Probably needs to be defragged!)

I'm making NEW tree filler lots with Girafe stuff to replace the old ones --- using 750 cap relief.  And I use a looooooooot of tree fillers! *:kitty:

@DavidDHetzel The Circus Maximus is a model I downloaded from 3d warehouse (along with lots of other stuff) from L.VII.C. I added some minor photoshop effects to many of the pics in the updates like some banners, some destruction effects, some mist and clouds, etc though to make it seem a little bit more authentic. I'll post an unedited pic however of all the BATs I downloaded and am using in the first update so there isn't any confusion *:)

@DavidDHetzel regarding the wind turbine manufacturing plant. That's not a bad idea. I have already initiated a Gmax folder named "Wind Turbine Project". Half full already.

Thanks
