That dome thing that no one, not even you, seems to know what it, that's what sigifies you. You're the what-the-hell kind of person who goes outside the box and makes stuff that no one else would even think of. That, and obviously your incredible skills, is why we all love you!  :thumb:

For those of you following my posts from about a week ago, you may be aware of the fact that I'll be going in for surgery in regards to my wisdom teeth. Since that last post, a time has been decided on. The process is more complicated for me due to allergies, so I'll be out for a few days starting around Thursday or Friday most likely. Subsequent to that, I may be out for up to a week. Oh well, as they (sort of) say, "feces happens". :P

Wisdom teeth....might go great, might not.

I was eating solid food 30 hours later and back at work on Monday (after a Friday procedure).  But I've heard horror stories.

Make sure you hydrate like they tell you.........

Due to anaphylaxis, I will not be using general anesthetic, only freezing. While I anticipate it being fairly painful during the procedure and that it will take a bit longer, the doctors suspect I will recover more quickly and have less issues than those who use anesthetic, especially those who undergo an induced coma, which is typical for modern wisdom teeth procedures.

Don't worry Bipin, I had my wisdom teeth taken out with only freezing too. It wasn't that bad. Only weird seeing your teeth come out and not feeling it. I went back home on public transit with my mouth still frozen. People were looking at me strange. I got back home and realized I had blood dripping out of the corner of my mouth but couldn't feel it on my skin.

Oh and the pain wasn't that bad after either. They gave me a whole lot of T3s but I only used a couple, not cause I'm tought or anything, just because it wasn't so bad. I also don't like drugs that knock you out or make you really tired.

For the house, the last one is better I think, but 2 versions is fine don't you think?

Don't ask either/or questions in BAT threads. You are bound to get "both" answers.

By the time the first render finished, I just decided to begin the second. Why not have more houses, eh? I mean, it's not like every house out there is unique... *cough*the neighbours a few doors down who copied, then mirrored our floor plan*cough*. I'll be honest, that one really rustled my jimmies the first time I saw their house... :P

I think it the beige is good, I think it's perspicuous for you to change the colors of the doors to match with the vinyl siding. I think you can also change the colors on the roof of the houses, it's variations and I think you can make more or edit more, all you have to do is edit an already finished model. When you finished with the model it's better to edited it so you do not have to make changes to each model, that can save some time. :D

The beige house and the red brick house both have grey roofs. The initial model, which was show much earlier did indeed have a darker roof. ;) Likewise, I'll be sure to use that darker roof for the pinkish-orange brick. I will also do two versions with brown roofs and siding/shakes. That's always a lovely combo. You can expect six different versions, which is fairly similar to the number you put out for your residential BATs; my inspiration! :D

I would just like to give belated thanks to your Industry Essentials volume Bipin, I've been experimenting with your grunge concrete extenders and your grunge roads and it's pretty amazing. Finally a diagonal filler which is not only transparent on one side but is quite versatile in its ploppability and layout.

I do have one request though; could you please upload the grunge roads without the telephone poles? Or saving that include -- in a future update -- more grunge road pieces so as to allow a more easier continuity of the telephone poles?

I have tried devising a grid system with your roads but inevitably -- no matter which configuration I attempted -- I was still left with telephone wires connecting to a non-existent telephone pole. It's still impressive but I was wondering if you provide additional pieces to remove this little visual snag?

    Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

    This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

I'm waiting for those tract houses.......and I'll get them as soon as I get my computer back in ;-). Either that or I'll just do the same on this old ailing computer and put all of the new files from here on my flash drive.

Your homes and industrial buildings are awaited.

How tall (in meters) is a human in sketchup for sc4? I want to know for scale, to make the doors and vehicles. Some of my previous creations were not in scale with the humans as props in lot editor. I wanted to make a series of cylinders at different heights in sketchup and then render them to measure scale, but I consider it is too much time consuming. Can you help me just..?
