Any guide for this, @SimCoug? I'm completely inept at modding, especially if it involves big numbers or hex... :P

I'm not sure C.P. ever put together a comprehensive tutorial, but I found this post that gives a simple explanation on how he approaches custom foundations.  If you can BAT one of your houses and create a foundation as a prop, I could probably take a look at some of C.P.'s recent releases and figure out how he modded them.

I think I'll go this route. It is similar to things I've tried before, actually, so that's some good news! Thanks! :)

Great!  Custom foundations can really bump up the realism factor when used on slopes... it's a shame that more BATers don't take advantage of the possibilities (although they add an extra level of work, so I definitely understand why).

My recommendation is to upload it to STEx as fast as you can :D
    Wonderful houses as always!!

Is that porch supposed to have that gap? Either you should expand it to the wall or give it another handrail :bunny: (it simply looks strange :/)

It must of been scaled separately.  I will just move it over. Thanks!

Looks like another veeery tasty set of slope-friendly homes is nearing completion - I like what I'm seeing, and your explanation of the missing side windows makes perfect sense. Now, with the back fully modeled and all the details added, the houses look much less dark and drab, too. :)

What if I won't enjoy it?

    Maybe I will

Then I'm afraid I'll have to throw all my BATs in your general direction. It'll be like a snowball fight, but with pointy structures made of brick and metal... ;)

Oh, I really like the new kid!  It looks very much like the homes you would find in the latest housing developments.   Maybe 3 or 4 different architecture variations and maybe a few different brick textures for each unique model and you could recreate a housing development pretty easily.  :thumb:

Wonderful! The decks are amazing as well, they will fit steep lots perfectly!

Modern housing development here we come.  Any diagonal/FAR renders in the works?

Yes, that is what's holding these back currently; the diagonal and wide radius curve-friendly houses. I'm in the process of rendering the actual homes, but as for the driveways, I'm not sure what to do. At the moment, I'm set on ground model props that will be plopped on a lot beside that of the actual house. This will let the user place the right driveway for the right situation with ease. Thoughts?

That sounds like a pretty good solution to me... textures can only go to the end of the lots, while ground models can overhang the lot, which is extremely useful on diagonal and FAR lots.

    Great houses, fantastic work!

The fence props on those lots have they already been released?

Can't wait to see these on the STEX :)

Thanks for the kind words! :D The fences are currently being modified to be more slope-tolerant, but you can find the version pictures above in my latest houses on the STEX.

May I donate my homes to you?

I'm sure my homes will have a better home with your homes at home with you.

    Kellydale,

I would feel right at home knowing your homes were in the same house as my homes. Feel free to send them over to my house; only home delivery though please. ;)

Bipin, would you be able to release a version of your wooden fences that are half fences? (Half the height of your already released ones) I absolutely love them :)
