TL-SCF-Heretic Modular Regional Airport

This modular aiport has three parents. SimCityFuturist is the one who did the original, which I loved and used often. And since I know many players are scared to death at the idea of making custom airports - like me -, I thought I would just relot it. And maybe add a Rail Station ? And remake the Freight Station ? And what if they were both functional, too ? And could subway be added to the Passenger Rail terminal ? That was a bit beyond my pay grade, and that’s where Tyberius, a.k.a. Heretic, intervened and did the modding heavy lifting, as well as give some TLC to parkings and general transport areas (and convince me about some props). 

This thing occupies a whole medium city tile in length and about 30 city squares in width. The airport per se is not functional, although the runways’ lights twinkle prettily and automata land and take off jauntily. You will need to add SFBT(Andreas) Airport Shuttle to your plugins in order to satisfy your citizens clamoring for air transit. But the rest is functional. You can extend the Freight rail to a much bigger freightyard if you so desire, as well as link the two double tracks of the passenger rail to more lines. And there is a subway station.

The other option is if you want to satisfy air transit demand, plop the Airport Tram and Swamper77 Air Support lot instead (they go together). 

Many thanks as usual to my technical gurus, Rsc204, Kosc and Dreadnought. And especially Rivit, who lighted my SC4world and is always generously ready to help (this time with a much needed parking texture). And the guys and gals on the forums (Twalsh, Matias93, Fantozzi, Cyclone Boom, Catty-cb, Corinamarie, Andreas…). We need support when we begin peeking under the hood of SC4. That the community is always there for us noobies is very comforting.

Installation:

IF you have a folder called TL-SCF-Heretic Airport FIX LOTS - remove it.
If you have the previous Tariely LOTS folder - then just let the new files to override the old files.
If you have a folder called Included Dependencies (most probably in the root of your plugins folder) with the following files:
                   - TL-PROPS JRJ Yellow taxis 2.dat
                   - Heretic-Tariel Airport Textures_text.dat
                   TL-PROPS Mikeseith Airport Shuttles folder with 7 additional *.dat files

you need to remove these files. In the new Tariely LOTS folder with this v1.5 upload you should still have an Included Dependencies folder with only two files: Heretic_Additional_Custom_paths.datHeretic-Tariel Airport Textures_text.dat. You must keep these files

Place/copy the Tariely LOTS folder into your plugins folder.

In any case after installation you need to replop the following lot files in game where you used them:

TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt01 - Runway 1
TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt05 - Terminal 1
TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt06 - Terminal 2 Middle
TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt07 - Terminal 3 End
TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt09 - Cargo Rail Freight
TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt10 - Passenger Rail

OR alternatively:

         TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt10b - Passenger HRW Terminal – This is a new lot, it meant to be connected on one DTR line with the new (post NAM v38) HRW network***. The other DTR line is still reagular rail. It has higher transport capacity than the original version.

On these passanger rail lots all car route are modded for the OWR network. You might experience odd custom paths at the middle top of these lots, ignore them or send a PM to Tyberious06 if you have any questions.

***To connect that TE track with this new HRW network, use the Monorail tool at the edge of the lot.

Uninstall: bulldoze all of these lots from your cities then remove all these files from your plugins.

Bear in mind, that one of the main dependency (due to the nightlights) is the Tariel-Rivit's Essentials, which has been updated to V5, and you need this new version for the updated version of these lots.

General warnings :
(1) This is for SC4 Rush Hour.
(2) I play with NAM36, RRW-EU selection.
(3) I also play with Twrecks Maxis HD Tree Replacement (if you don’t use it, some trees will just revert to Vanilla Maxis Trees ; perhaps you should use it, it is a neat mod, and yes, it allows you to get rid of palms…)
 (4) I play Nights. Depending on your using or not a Light Replacement Mod, the lightpoles will be different, but There Will Be Light. If you dont want it, you can either tweak my lights in the Lot Editor or take the relevant items out of my Essentials folder (check its Readme).
(5) I like trees. I usually make intensive use of trees. Especially Girafe tree collection on the LEX ; so here’s the link, once for all ; just follow it into the woods, when indicated.

@Alan Waters : one or the others ; there is the problem I signaled with the SFBT Airport Shuttle, but if you don't intend to ever bulldoze and replace it, you can disregard. The two others are to be used together, if not using the SFBT Shuttle.

Oh wow this is awesome!

Just one question... fully assembled, is this airport the exact same size as the old modular one? Wondering if I can simply replace them.

The full lenght of the runway side is the same, but the dept/height/width (I don't know which one is the proper term) of the terminal side is a bit biger. All the pieces has been align together on the terminal side, and it got extra pieces (also the previous firestation and cargo rail lot has been separated, so now those stuffs are sitting on 2 lots and I think the lenght of those together has been increased by 1 tile). 
The full width is 31 tiles (runway 1 - 15 tiles, terminal 1 - 16 tiles), just the terminal parts 16 tiles, so it won't perfectly fit, you need to adjust the surroundings a bit. I'm doing the same atm....

I'm gonna share images later anyway!

Thanks for answering so fast ,Tyb'. the rearranging is indeed quite slight ; here is a picture of the original when I used it way back then (sorry, it's quite blurry) ; it's mostly on the Fire-station/Freight cargo side.

Hi, it's my first time posting here and I'm sorry if I'm being dumb but, I downloaded the file and all its dependencies but I can't seem  to find the first runway in the air menu. I've got all the other parts except for that one and the file itself (TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt01 - Runway 1_eacdaf80.SC4Lot) is present in my plugins. I'm probably just blind and it's right there in front of me.*:???:

You're absolutely right, thanks for the heads up. 
I think, some of the final editing corrupted the first lot. I'm using my personal version, so I haven't noticed it. I'm gonna fix it and send it to @tariely, who will upload an updated/fixed version.

It's quite good to be frank, but there is something wrong with the fire station, the street light bugged with brown boxes, I have already downloaded the Light Replacement mod but things still stays the same and of course, I have download all the Depencies (except the one with NAM, I can't download it).
Please help me

about the dependency
It's the pack called Tariel-RIvit's Essential V4 which is said to load after the NAM (I confused about the NAM since I can't download it...)

And secondly, in the runway part 3, some of the pathing got bugged, i guess? Cause it shows the city floor/grass or something.

I can at least tell you that, with the textures Tyberius mentioned, you're missing one dep : R6 Prop Pack Vol.01 (cars) ; this is how it should look  ; I don't know about the green runway ir the missing tiles though... Tyb' ?

Thanks for your help, since I play on window xp, my chrome couldn't open the site leads to that prop pack XD

It is supposed to be in this *.zip, what you downloaded with the airport. Actually they are not there. 

@tariely OH... did you simply replaced the zip what I sent in one of our last PM with the one what you've uploaded previously???
You should have replaced the lot files in the original upload with the new files (what I sent last time), and reupload the full package again... There is no Documentation and there are no Included Dependencies folders in this version!!!! I only sent you the fixed files, not the full package. 
That's why @Danmyman doesn't have those textures...

To my utter shame I cannot answer that question, I don't think we tested it for that version of the NAM. I know that it should work with NAM 32 and up, but... Paging @Tyberius06 !

In this case the NAM doesn't make any real difference here function wise. These railway compatible lots are working without NAM perfectly, and they are working with the previous versions too...

Hey, this is very nice!
But can you make it work, that the fire trucks cars can drive from the airport area to the streets?
It only works, if the fire department lot is directly connenctet to a road.

It's not possible. The fire station, although it takes place in the Fire department menu, it's just eyecandy as far as I remember. Also I am not sure, that airport fire department vehicles are really supposed to leave the airport at all for whatever reason. I think they shouldn't for security reasons and as their main purpose to serve the airport.
