1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW
The eleventh upload in a series of IRM W2W lots based on BAT models made by other artists is Yankee Linen Supply, another BAT made by jestarr. It will be the last of his BATs in this pack; the upcoming uploads for this pack will feature BATs by other artists. There will be more jestarr buildings in the further future, though.
The building will provide 180 I-D jobs and, once more, comes on four lots. The two straight lots are really simple; they feature the building with a small loading area in the back - either just the building as part of a closed row, or the building with an alley to the right. The other two lots can be used as end pieces for two rows of W2W houses built back to back with a one-tile gap inbetween. Here's the lineup:
- 5x2 straight, Stage 1
- 6x2 straight, Stage 1
- 2x5 left cap, Stage 1 (left-hand end piece for 5 tiles deep W2W blocks)
- 2x5 right cap, Stage 1 (right-hand end piece for 5 tiles deep W2W blocks)
2 - USE
If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM W2W Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. Within that folder, you will find all the game-relevant files and a sub-folder containing the HTML readme and some screenshot(s).
If you no longer wish to use this download, proceed as follows:
- Bulldoze all lots pertaining to this download
- Save all the cities and exit the game when you're done bulldozing
- Remove the associated files from your plugins folder
3 - DEPENDENCIES
Since this is an extension to the IRM, all the dependencies of the original IRM base pack still apply.
In addition to this, you'll need the original upload of the BAT to see the buildings:
Yankee Linen Supply - only the .sc4model file is required.
NOTE: You must be registered and logged into the BSC File Exchange over at SC4Devotion in order to see the download button. Please bear in mind that there are separate logins for the forums and for the file exchange.
If you want to have the option of blocking the enclosed lots from growing temporarily, for example when you want to go back to regular (i.e., non-W2W) IRM industry for a while, you can use the IRM W2W Expansion Blocker v 1.0 (or higher) from January 23, 2015 (or later).
