Overhanging Fillers 1.0

Good job!  These will be quite useful for diagonals and bridges.  It's neat that you included sandstone for those who use it, which I do in some cities.

There aren't enough fillers with overhanging props. It certainly helps break up the grid stepping on diagonal transportation networks.

 

I know personally that the poster will be MIA for a while so there probably won't be any additions to this set for some time. However, Mag does give a shout to Cogeo for these, so maybe someone can persuade them to add too. 

 

Would personally love a "triangular" puzzle piece just like the ones in the Murimk's Diagonal Fillers / Extenders Set. I would if I know how, but haven't learned how to use the LE yet. 

 

Who ever does know how to use the LE, should follow suit and create a few more of these simple overhanging props puzzle pieces.

Do the overhangs disappear on anyone else?  As soon as I pan away or rotate, the overhanging part fades and ultimately disappears - for good.  They don't come back when I re-plop them or restart the game.  I love the idea as much as everyone else, so imagine my disappointment.  I'll hold off on voting until I get some feedback.

You can solve this by opening the lots in the Lot Editor and then raise the props by about .02 (Hold Control and press Up key twice with the overhanging prop selected). You may find if you zoom in and out that they appear and disappear, this is because when they are at the same height as the texture they are replacing the two textures conflict and fight with each other so they switch, when you raise the overhang it will always show because it's now higher than the conflicting texture and blocks it for good.
