  1. Looks like something got away... this building floats in one rotation! This is @mattb325's The Mirror. All that would be needed would be a repaired zoom 3 render of this building.
  2. What you seek is called the Maxis Highway Override (MHO). It is a NAM installation option.
  3. Show us What you're Working On

Look closely and you'll see the FLUPs going around three sides of the plaza...

Building that recently got demoed here in the Phoenix area, the old Allied Signal/Honeywell building... Would make a good anchor-type suburban office. https://www.abc15.com/news/business/site-of-former-honeywell-office-building-in-tempe-to-be-redeveloped-as-industrial-space

Click with the Rail tool over the intersection.
  6. The drag pattern shown at left, when drawn with RHW, will give you the outcome at right. Just curve the ramps as needed.
  7. I just realized today that the Gobias New York Slab sidewalk mod I have does not show up at zooms 5 and 6 (only 1 through 4) and the sidewalk area is transparent. I've further noticed plaza replacement textures do not work with it and I get the RGB/black "no texture" squares. Is this a bug in the mod itself or something I'm doing wrong
  8. Mine is a MacBook Air (2013) with integrated graphics. I'd like to use my more current MacBook Pro for SC4, but something between VirtualBox and SC4 on that system does not mesh and the VM slows down to the point of being uncontrollable.
  9. That would do it (my VM actually straight up can't do hardware rendering). Looks like I'll need to find a different sidewalk mod.
  10. pclark06 Retail BAT stuff

Thanks. I didn't have Fleetpride or ITD but I did download the latter after seeing it was updated. Makes me feel a good bit better about zoning new I-D and I-M in my cities.
  11. pclark06 Retail BAT stuff

Yeah, that's massive. I think all the industrials would merit investigating. Another lot, not by PC, that is notorious for high garbage scale is ks_JPN's Yurtec Stadium:
  12. pclark06 Retail BAT stuff

Thanks. It seems to be mostly your industrials. Looking at them with PIM-X will probably result in values that are more appropriate and don't lead to the lots glowing red in the garbage view.

Looks good. Been meaning to bring this up, but I have some of your industrial lots and I notice that their garbage generation is so overscaled I have to bulldoze them when they come up. Any plans for a fix on that? (e.g. Grainger, United Rentals)
  14. Show us What you're Working On

Good luck with the Patreon! Hopefully we see some of the other projects you've teased in here in recent years (Edificio La Nacional x3, the Wiltern, Chicago Board of Trade, etc.) show up there.

Glad to see more churches. There's a real need for diversity of places of worship in SC4. I'd be happy to send you some examples of designs I like or that are typical if you're interested.
  16. Beechworth Townhouses (ortho)

Stellar as always, Matt. These will make great for urban infill properties.

That looks like the wrong piece; that one goes over double diagonal rail. Check for one where there is just straight rail underneath.
  18. Problems with neighbor connection on highways

Hi @Merenzeine, a few observations: #1. The cars going underground is a graphical glitch but also part of the reason NCs exist. SimCity 4 expects neighbor connections for single-tile networks to utilize the same tile for both directions. This is hard for one-way networks, thus the NC pieces to allow distribution of trips acorss all the tiles. #2. You need an NC piece in the Centralzão tile. You can't put one there right now because of the road running on the last tile. That road needs to move over one tile.
  19. NAM General Support

On #1 and #2, you have one extra left turn lane (you don't need it in the top left corner). On #2, the intersecting road also would need to intersect both tiles of the wider road (TLA-5/Avenue).
  20. Videowave Movie Rentals

You really have a talent for small retail. Great stuff.

This might be interesting for I-M. It's a factory in Pittsfield, Maine, that's producing COVID testing swabs: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2021-03-18/covid-test-swab-company-puritan-faces-family-feud It used to be a GE Infrastructure Security fire alarm factory and presumably has had other uses. That back part looks quite old.

This one's a known issue that can actually be fixed by removing a file.

Welcome to North American suburban architecture. I chose these because they're a mix of styles and regions and they represent also some types of regional architecture that SC4 is very underweight on.

These are looking great and the improved textures are going a long, long way. If you're looking for more inspiration, I'll throw some your way in a form of a few suburban neighborhoods — most of these you can pan around and look at the area in general: (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) (8) I'd be happy to point you to additional stuff too, like low/medium-density apartments, if you ever want to do that.
