Hey Rob!
It all started when I found my old SC4 CD in the beginning of march and said why not. Long story short the old game found a vibrant new life from when I played as a lad. As an adult now, I sought to present only the best cities to my constituents (sims) that focused on education, efficiency, economics rather than the helicopter and tank rides that I used to indulge on. As I looked for forums, information, tips and tricks, I quickly came upon a massive community of creators and modders, surprised deeply I was. The fire then fully ignited. Now armed with a plethora of knowledge, industry multipliers, NAM, oh boy does the list go on, I play for more consecutive hours than my dear lady would deem healthy. This is all to say that your videos gave me a lot. Not only in-game know-how but also bigger concepts spanning from basic concepts of city planning and structure to how cities change/morph over time as you sometimes sprinkle your education into your content. I just wanted to extend you a most sincere thank you. IMO your video content is of rich quality. I literally recognized your icon out of the corner of my eye on a random thread, put two and two together and had to come forth to present my appreciation. Keep it up, cheers mate.
Sincerely,
David T.

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. I started making YouTube videos as a COVID-19 hobby and have been very surprised at the enthusiasm for my SimCity videos in particular. I'm super glad if the tutorials were useful!
I'm going to start doing some Honestville stuff on Twitch as well if you're interested. The YouTube episodes will focus on building out large parts of the city, while the Twitch streams will be detail work, cleaning up little messes, testing mods, building perfect highway interchanges and the like. It's also going to be my platform of choice for interacting more directly with viewers, as the comments sections on some of my videos are getting a bit crowded ;). Just my latest project.
Anyway. Really happy you like the content and hope to see you around the internets!
Cheers,
Rob
