  1. Show us your Railroads!

I'm carefully preparing lots for my next mid-size city, and other stuff, and that gave me an occasion (a while ago actually !) to experiment more with various ideas for railway props, and other stuff. The last one I did were the canopies shown bellow, which I tried to make as versatile as possible (it's 1 tile long and can be combined extensively). I'll probably share them in a pack when I'll be able to work on BATing again. A station I made for a small town in the hills, in which I managed to place the gorgeous props that Girafe made some time ago, along with some really nice stuff from Simmer2. I love to spent time on lotting and then take close-up pictures in game, these could be shared someday but the dependency lists would be probably really long, inconsistent and weird as it's basically stuff that I make for my own use so I don't know. Also a train depot with some old TGVs (wip) :
  2. PC Holiday Inn

Thanks a lot, I probably already have a place for it
  3. Show us What you're Working On

@pclark06 It's great to see you experiment something different in BATing, it looks real good I love these cheap hotels temporary workers and truck drivers sleep in for some reason.
  4. IDS's (mostly) Minnesota BATs

Really, really nice one, good choice imo It reminds me of an hospital I was living nearby about two years ago, nicely generic, yet it has its own personality.
  5. Show us your City's Details/Close-ups!

@Nojus_A Nice, I like this building in the sunset Here's some more of the same, but I've added some trees.
  6. SimCity 3000 Unlimited Recreations

Absolutely great They would have hired you to make promotional pictures back in the day
  7. Show us your City's Details/Close-ups!

I'm trying to fill blocks with weird shapes (including FAR, diags and straights and sometimes all at once) as much as possible so it feels as natural as possible. With all the good existing stuff that can help me I made quite a bunch of custom lots throughout the years and I'm slowly starting to get satisfied with what I can make now
  8. Show us What you're Working On

Sketchy Towers finally available I choose to upload it to TSC as I didn't put things on the site in a while. I will re-upload it here as well, as a backup. Link here. Hope you will like these in-game.
  9. Show us What you're Working On

Coming soon, only a few details to change
  10. Show us What you're Working On

@mattb325 You just made me realize that there's not many obvious fast foods at ground floors of w2w buildings - Thanks
  11. Where to go?

Interesting CJ, I like your attention to detail Would you publish zoom-1 or 2 pictures or a custom map so we can see what this city looks like more globally ?
  12. SM2 AM Radio Antenna

Cool one I remember a very similar antenna on simcitypolska but never downloaded it for some reason.
  13. Show us What you're Working On

@IDS2 Great surprise, it looks gorgeous
  14. Bogotá

Gorgeous work as usual - your historical scenes are still my favourites
  15. Show us What you're Working On

Really cool idea, there are so few older cars available Especially from this period.
  16. Hi ^^ Why not starting with this, I guess it could fit a Avignon-looking city pretty well : ...Probably with R6 and Youcef stuff (on TSC) and maybe many MBear italian-styled buildings (on SC4Devotion). Annecy differs widely though, and I don't know it that much.
  17. Show us What you're Working On

@WolfZe That "big signal box" is really lovely, there is not a bunch of these, but wouldn't it be way better to export it without the rail textures, simply as an overhanging building ? So there wouldn't be any visual break and it could easily adapt to any rail texture one may be using.
  18. Show us What you're Working On

@The British Sausage Nice ^^ At least, when I have no time to play, I can watch the nice towns other people who have enough time to play and steal get new ideas from it (btw, what is the 3 floors grey building rigjht in the middle of the third image please ?)
  19. Show us What you're Working On

@Simmer2 If this is still in the making, I guess I can suggest a few modifications. Based on my own opinion, so take it or leave it, I can't decide for you Considering that it's an important train station, I would have placed more than one frontdoor. Such a big station will have crowds going through it every time a train stops and will need large openings to handle it. Also, on a more aesthetic aspect, maybe the bays "stick out" too much from the walls and it feels a little bit weird. And for the clock, you can expand it vertically by (about) 133% so it will seem more round rendered. I think that I already had to deal with this "crushed" circles syndrom, and that weirdly, expanding them by something like 115% or 120% looked better, but honestly I can't remember. I guess it's something abandonned then ? Nice idea anyway
  20. Sugarloaf cable car

This seems interesting and well modeled, despites being pretty hard to find a place for. Nice work, thanks for sharing.
  21. Well there's no reason in fact I don't start a thread on Simtropolis as well now that I have a valid account I have created buildings with Gmax for nearly a year now, still I have only four releases yet, all available on our old french home Toutsimcities. I have, yet, many projects hidden in my folders but that may be long to come out mainly because of my extreme laziness. I would'nt re-post here the various previews, but everything can be seen on my thread on SC4Devotion and on TSC as well. For some weeks I have been collaborating with my dear talented colleague Sciurus on a railway pack including many stations and other devices. We're sleeping on it for the moment but we will be back on that in the future as well I just have small things to show today, the various props I've been working on to be packed in a single prop-pack which will be a dependency among others for some of my forthcomming projects. Including an early-20th-century-suburban-houses-pack of (planned) 5 models and a modular cemetery as well. So this is nearly finished ! So the others projects will boost up I still plan to make two other fence props, and one small, typically french outdoor restaurant usually found on wharfs, plazas or parks, called a "Guinguette" (or a "Pied-Humide" in my town). I'm indeed quite happy with the small hearse, my first attempt in vehicle creation. I'd like to make a horse-driven hearse but I'm afraid with the horse, I suspect myself to be ineffectual and to make a hideous freaking out freak instead.
  22. Version 1.0

    453 Downloads

Finally, this is available - I should have shared these models way earlier as this took me like 5 minutes to pack. This download contains the 28 models and affiliated props, packed into two different dat files (one for the models and the other one for the props) that I made for that old modular factory project. So please consider : - This is a dependency, this download doesn't contain any lots. - So I intended this resource pack to be a dependency for an official release of that project that will come sooner or later. - But feel free to use it as you want from now on. That's why I share this, of course. All the models are full-HD, it contains a variety of sheds, buildings, and walls inspired by various 19th century and early 20th century french factories, with carefully made lods that normally allow to combine all the pieces nicely. It also contains a blank building. I hope that this will please you.
