1. 1880 Census – Rolling Stone

I just read the entire CJ. I am massively inspired!
2. Servitium

Sadly, all the cities were going wrong in my first attempt to make a city that looks like it should, the game was glitching. I then made another game and the same bugs kept showing up and the cities were failing.
3. Church ruins

Is it a coincidence that I was listening to the Skyfall song and saw this?
4. Volcano Pack

The city I'm making had an unexpected volcano (to the sims at least :P) and it looks so stupid all empty and having normal grass and everything like nothing happened after. This will be perfect! And if you are wondering, it has erupted around 5 sims and killed 25% of my sims. I only had 20,000 in the city before the eruptions, and now after about 21,000 because I rebuilt. All my larger buildings are on the side of the mountain where they are extremely vulnerable. The orginal settlers still want their annoying mansions that take up WAY too much space. But on topic again, definetly a 9. I think almost every mod has a small thing that could be added or fixed. Of course this mod still has everything it the title says.
5. Terra Nova

I can't into the readme. It says how I can't open this type of file when I try to download it.
6. Tn house pack

The low density ones support quite a large amount of people which makes your city have more people then it really should but on my island having a few of them could definitely help with the population. I downloaded them around 2 months ago or 3, whenever it was somewhat new and am finally using them...
7. Castle 1100 AD prop pack

These duplicate in my files should it do that?
8. Oreo Hills

I appreciate the comments. The transition from darker to lighter filters was pure coincidence. This was the first city where I began testing the various filters with the intention of taking pictures to share. I agree that many of the Red & Black filter pictures are a little maniacal looking, kind of small town horror story style. I enjoy(ed) playing this city but I haven't played it much recently for two reasons: 1.) The Rusted Bridge CJ and; 2.) the winding and pocketed nature of the town resulted in several agent path finding problems. The biggest two were power and water issues, i.e., despite having surpluses the water and power packets became depleted before reaching some of the more remote and/or tucked away locations which resulted in citizen complaints and abandonment issues. I think it will be necessary to seriously modify the city to address these issues and I was too frustrated to come up with a legitimate reason to seriously modify the town given the pseudo-story I was running. I may come back to Oreo Hills after patch 2.0 or if I need a break from Rusted Bridge. Well you still did a nice job. I have noticed that in my most recent city that I planned to have HORRIBLE traffic on. At 6k sims the streets are so clogged and annoying until late night where people sleep more like dead sims then rocks. My coal plant is working so hard in that city but some residents don't get enough power but if I add a road to fix that a nice dirt road is clogged with 100 cars and the avenue is empty.
9. Oreo Hills

I love this city, such amazingly planned out. Your first pictures with the more dark filters make it seem like living in your city is a hard life but then as the filters get more colorful it seems like the city is getting better and becoming a nicer place to live.
10. Servitium

WARNING: My first city journal THE BEGINNING The first people to come to servitum are unknown. It is said that they may have been sims who protested against OldeSimNation and left looking for new friendlier shores. Whoever it was didn't do a very good job. There are a few journals left behind written in OldeSimlish that were found. They tell of harsh living conditions and an "special" ruler. In the descriptions of the lands back then it is said that the island was very large and the only body of water on it was a small river that went about one mile in. As small amounts of sims came they tended to build small crude towns with about 200 sims each. Many of these towns often fought each other and were very hostile. Whenever they conquered a town they would burn it to the ground and take all the sims and use them as slaves in their town. Eventually the island was called servitium which can be roughly translated from Olde Simlish (Latin irl) to Simlish (English irl) as slavery. The towns with the best fighters prospered. Eventually a great wave struck the land said to be caused by the angry watcher and left the size of the island to about 1 sq mile and oddly shaped. Only 2 towns survived. One of the survivors journals esitmated that around 3,000 sims died while another said around 20,000. This can also show that some of the sims may have not had much knowledge of the towns around it. In time the waters retreated but the few towns remaining died off. The lands sat empty for most likely 500-2000 years. THE REDISCOVERY In the year of 1824 a sim, Simpher Columber, later found the lands again and built a wealthy port town that thrived off of a resource that had newfound value, coal. Many sims came there thinking they would get wealthy on coal and take whatever they mined. NO. Simpher was very strict about what people took for themselves. Because of this, he became quite wealthy and built a grand mansion. Over time the town grew the what is estimated to be 40,000 still somewhat small for the times but steadily growing. Eventually the sims, even the enforcers as they were called plotted agaisnt him. They tried to burn down his oversized living quarters but failed because of a very sudden storm that caused some of the strongest rain ever. Around a month later, everything was steady there and Simpher was happy with his town. As he was on his bedroom balacony laughing at his poor sims below him a meteor hurled through the atmosphere headed for what should have been the nearby ocean. For some reason that is still unknown, the Earth's rotation was quicker at that moment and it hit right where Simpher's beautiful estate was. Needless to say Simpher Columber was dead. The meteor carried large amounts of radiation and lava inside of it which caused the whole town to burn to the ground. Almost every sim died. The lands were now viewed as the Devil's lands and thought to be cursed. THE RE-REDISCOVERY In the year of 1988 a new future mayor found the lands of Servitium and thought it was a beautiful and glorious island that had never been touched. He commanded his grew to stop there and set up a nice camp. The next day he contacted the mainland and told Evil Dictator (yes that is his full name) of the Sim Nation about this newfound land that has never seen a sim before. Many sims refused to go to this lands because even with the horrible ruling of Evil Dictator they loved it there. The man didn't care and still settled. Eventually a small amount of sims came. They loved it there and didn't want other sims to crowd up these glorious lands. His town thrived. They had an ungodly surplus of food and not even a single sim who had commited a crime. This town existed for about 15 years before the water levels eventually had completely swallowed the original town up. Only one sim hadn't survived the slow rising of the sea. All the remaining sims headed back to the mainland and made a new life there. The island once again was empty. CURRENT TIMES In 2011 sims made what they said would be that last try of inhabiting the island. They set up their lands by where Simpher Columber made his town. Surprisingly nothing happened bad to them within their first year of settling. They haven't been growing that much though. Many sims lack the ability to actually put forth some effort to make the town grow. What will happen to Newport? My next post will tell. Thanks to anyone who read all of that. That is the background of the new region I made. Give me your thoughts on it. Oh and if you're wondering I made it on Reflection Atoll (That's the name right?)
11. Skycity

If anyone rated it 5 stars they would be murdered on the spot. This literally the worst thing I've seen yet. Take away all those buildings but one. Divide the population of the thing you made by 75 and then I might give it 2 stars.
12. SimMars Beta 3

It somehow merged with my Simcity file where it only played simmars.
13. SimMars Beta 3

After writing that I tried to get on Simcity once again and I can't play the normal version when I use the normal Simcity icon. I don't know how to safely delete all the Simmars stuff either.
14. Finally farms have some use in my cities. On here each 2-4 things on farms (plants as some may say) have one job. I always use farms when I begin a city now.
15. Discussion about City Tile Size

This isn't going to make me not play simcity. I am kind of mad about this though.
