    Hello friends! After a week of LE and ilive's Reader experimentation I though of uploading some of the work I have done so far on the Maxis university renewal. Inspired by other modders and uploaders I tried to mod the university and would like to share this work with you. I will keep this work updated to eliminate any possible problems or inconsistencies. You will find two versions: RW12x10_UnivAdminTower_033D_2aabc765.SC4Lot (additional lot next to the original one with default stats, GUID and LE auto generated menu icon) and RW12x10_UnivAdminTower_033D_ea28722b.SC4Lot (Maxis override version with default stats, GUID and menu icon) You may download any or both versions at once. I guess there should be no problems using them simultaneously since exemplar IDs are unique to both. Notification about this work: 1. I tried to keep things consistent because by the end I started losing control over prop count and quality. This is why some things stayed the same (building props, textures and most secondary props) while some other have been replaced with custom content (flora, overlay textures and some props). 2. The lot has changed in size from 12x10 to 12x13. This means you might need some more space to accommodate it. Also if you know some classic lamp post props with proper night light cones to replace the default ones I would really appreciate it! 3. This is work done by someone who is just getting into business. I cannot guarantee that this mod will work for you if any. I have not investigated into any undesirable occurrences because I have not met any so far. Also I am novice to exemplar modding. Both tests done by my side on this mod so far on two completely different systems went flawless regarding crashes and serious conflicts. If you have any problem using this mod and/or know how to solve them please PM or comment below. I will try to respond the soonest. I have also no idea if there is any conflict with third party stats mod you might be using. I just hope there shouldn't be any. 4. You may notice that when plopped some props might be missing. If so just rotate once or twice and the props should show up. I haven't figured out as to why is this happening yet. If you have any idea let me know. 5. Custom content is something we all like that is why there are some dependencies for those exceptional props used for this project. The list includes: BSC Mega Props - JES Vol01 BSC - VIP girafe berries (v1.0) BSC - VIP girafe bushes (v1.0) BSC - VIP girafe chestnuts (v1.0) BSC - VIP girafe common spruces (v1.0) BSC - VIP girafe cypresses (v1.0) BSC - VIP girafe lupins (v1.0) BSC - VIP girafe norway maples (v1.0) NetworkAddonMod_Props.dat (included in the latest NAM installation package which means you will need NAM or at least exctract the file) PEG MTP SUPER PACK v1.02 SuperPaths Pathway Textures v1.00 6. You may use this work for further improvement/development and distribute it freely with my permission as of now on but always as per each community rules and restrictions! I would like it if you notified me though, because I might like to use your work instead of mine in-game. Thank you and thank you to all those modders and admins who upload awesome work and keep this game alive all these years!

      Yeah i feel your pain. I have like 3 regions where it's happened and it is frustrating that you can't delete the great work....

  7. Hello This madness with worker stalling in phase 2 Space Center has to end! Anybody interested in modifying the Space Center to function properly as intended please share your thoughts here. If you know anything about modifying in SimCityPak or have an idea on how to change the values in the properties move on and give us an enlightenment! To give it a start I will post a couple of my findings on this topic. I have found different values in the EgoGame latest package (SimCity-Scripts_287520926) on the amount of workers to be sent on the site to complete the Stage 2! There is a property file named GreatWorks_SpaceCenter_01_01_U (527 bytes in size) which includes several keys and properties that regulate the amount of everything it takes to build it. The point is that changing those values directly won't give a result (neither does deleting them nor adding new ones). Some interesting properties I tried to modify this or another way would be: kResourceIDGWRegionalConstructionWorkersSent (TGI: 0x00b1b104 , 0x40e0c100 , 0x47e6aa00) kResourceIDGWRegionalConstructionWorkersTotal (TGI: 0x00b1b104 , 0x40e0c100 , 0x9131a624) kResourceIDWorkersSent (TGI: 0x00b1b104 , 0x40e0c100 , 0xd614d4c8)
  8. I don't think it has disappeared. Everything is there in the servers. They have no priviledge to touch or delete anything stored in them. Maybe these guys are continuing works in order to expand the servers thus making them not fully accesible. I hope these are temporary measures and as far as I understand it they actually are temporary. I say this because some 7-8 days ago I had this same issue. I abandoned that city, waited for like 2-3 days and reclaimed it back. Surprisingly that worked out! Even now I have this issue in the same server but with a different region and city. I have spent like 7 hours yesterday building it and this error message popped out again. What is going on is of course unacceptable and inexcusable because many days have passed since the release date and they should have it fixed by now. But in this situation I suppose patience and composure is the only thing left to somehow handle it . Besides it we can't do anything else can we?
  9. So the questions are 4 and go like this: -Does it ever rain in the map to "refill" the water table? I have never experienced this phenomenon even in a very rich water source city. -How does it happen that building water pumping center next to a river and/or lake still dries out the water map and does not provide infinite ammounts of it as stated by the water drilling advisor? -Is there a cap in the ammount of water/power/sewage to be sold to neighborhood cities? I ask this question and seek a verification to my worst expectations (that there is an actual cap) because I notice that even thought I build pumping stations in one city (thus having a total capacity of 1100 kgal/hr) the ammount of water to be arriving in my other two cities does not exceed the 244-245 kgal/hr point. -And the last one goes for resources. I notice that one of the random tips popping out while loading a city states something like this: "Send trucks with resources directly to other cities to help them with industry!". So is there any other way to provide uninterrupted ammounts of resource s (e.g. providing continiously aloy and/or metal from an ore mining city to another speciallsing on electronics) except for the gifting method? I know that trade ports and depots allow you to trade with global market. But can we use them to trade between cities? Thank in you in advance for any help!
