  1. motokloss MS Próchnika 8c, Warsaw

just the perfect size for any european city. I'm surprised about the modern style of the 1930s. I like all of your buildings, please keep up the good work! dziękuję!
  2. Pacific Northwest Tree Controller

Thanks for this brilliant work! I especially like the variety and the treeline in higher elevations. It appears to me, that oak trees mostly appear in mid-level-elevations, and there are less of them in the lowest elevation. While this may perfectly match the situation in the pacific northwest, i wonder if there is a way to have more oak trees in lower elevations, like in europe? Anyway, your work is highly appreciated!
  3. BALKANIKA - Belgrade metropolitan area, Serbia

congrats, good first attempt as a map-maker. i like the rivers, you created them carefully ! however, it appears to me you've been using an 8-bit greyscale DEM. if you like to create more maps you may consider to use a 16-bit-mapping process (e.g. rgb, which i think is the easiest) instead of a greyscale. it's improving the terrain appearance and accuracy a lot and will help you to reduce bumpy areas.
  4. Wiener Wasserturm

thanks a lot for sharing this lovely building, you're a real batting talent! I'm already curious about your Wiener Gemeindehaus buildings. Is there a chance you will upload them on the stex? Anyway, this is a great start. Don't bother about people who complain about the dependency list. IMO this is disrespectful towards the content creators who put lots of effort into their work.
  5. NHP Geneva By nichter85

thank you for all your comments so far.
  6. NHP Geneva By nichter85

    thanks kelistmac, and thanks troy!
  7. Somewhere In The World #4

Great idea to map places "somewhere in the world". I like it. cheers!
  8. Modular Breakwater Set

I'm sorry for two posts in a row... but have you ever thought of creating "overhanging" modular breakwaters, which look like a bridge seen from the side? you could place them next to bridges or next to dams, making them appear like a bridge. this way you could create water bridges for the real highway mod, the 6- , 8- and 10-line networks.
  9. Modular Breakwater Set

wow this is so awesome!!! it's exactly what i need - cool stuff! if you like you may create a ploppable light house suitable to these walls. thank you so much for uploading, you saved my day!
  10. Taylor House R1and CS1 and LM

There is even graffiti on the walls. And I love this roof junk, the waste containers and all the other details. This building is a great addition to any realistic city. Thanks a lot!
  11. 1970's Brutalist College

We all hate these buildings in real life, but we love them in our cities! Great work, and quality textures!
  12. Falkeid Office Tower

I think my sims live in the 1970s. And they'll get what they deserve! lots of concrete architecture just like this building. It's not just realistic, it's a necessity for every european downtown. Thanks a lot!
  13. Generic Office Midrise - DIAGONAL

This is so realistic! The fact it's diagonal makes this building even better! Please keep working on these postwar buildings. Your work is highly appreciated.
  14. Ascon

cool map, a lovely small one. i just wonder, are these mountains somewhere in the real world? or is it a fantasy map?
  15. The Mediterranean Sea

it seems to me you used landcover data instead of elevation data. your greyscale matches to the vegetation in the mediterranean sea. northern africa with its dry sahara desert has the highest altitude, the nile delta is among the lowest parts, while the pyrenees, appenines and balkans are not appearing.
  16. Jon 1x1 House A

Amazing details. Looks like the model railway building. cool stuff!
  17. Jon 1x1 Corner House C

this reminds me of a model railway building in HO scale (1:87) by FALLER, but it's the double height. Looks familiar to me ;-). Great!
  18. Wow, it must have taken ages to create and render this map. And it's a long-term project to build on it. I like the mixture of coastlines, mountains and basins. I think NZ is full of spectacular places which deserve to be mapped.
  19. Medium Sized Hospital

there is no need to build a maxis hospital any more, thanks to your excellent upload. the architectural style, as discussed above, perfectly matches the reality. i wonder how people manage to regain their health locked in such dull concrete constructions, but all the hospitals i know look similar to this one.
  20. Kaufland hypermarket

a perfect addition to the aldi, lidl, or media markt buildings on the stex.
  21. Simville Local Police

You did a great job, thank you! It's so very realistic to have these unspectacular, small functional buildings in suburbia. And it looks a lot better than any maxis standard police.
  22. Saint George Hospital

This is so useful and realistic for european cities! Thanks a lot. There can never be enough custom civic buildings.
  23. NDEX Tunnelpack AVENUE version

Great idea! These tunnels are useful, especially to cross city borders, but also for 90 degree "bended" tunnels. I like to use them in mountain areas but it doesn't work because of the steep slopes. Is there a way to increase the max. slope of the subway network (I use ilive's reader)? Also I see some of my sims get lost in the tunnel. I had 47 sims going in and only 23 coming out.
  24. Le Locle and La Chaux-de-Fonds

Congrats to your latest map, this is great work! I just finished a map of Geneva, which is very close to La chaux-de-Fonds. The Jurassic Chain in your map looks very accurate. May I ask you about the data source, I'm just curious? Is this SRTM 3-arc or viewfinderpanoramas.org 1 arc?
  25. Vancouver B.C. Canada By blade2k5

Great to see you over here again! A quality map, as always!
