Thanks for this brilliant work! I especially like the variety and the treeline in higher elevations. It appears to me, that oak trees mostly appear in mid-level-elevations, and there are less of them in the lowest elevation. While this may perfectly match the situation in the pacific northwest, i wonder if there is a way to have more oak trees in lower elevations, like in europe? Anyway, your work is highly appreciated!

congrats, good first attempt as a map-maker. i like the rivers, you created them carefully ! however, it appears to me you've been using an 8-bit greyscale DEM. if you like to create more maps you may consider to use a 16-bit-mapping process (e.g. rgb, which i think is the easiest) instead of a greyscale. it's improving the terrain appearance and accuracy a lot and will help you to reduce bumpy areas.

thanks a lot for sharing this lovely building, you're a real batting talent! I'm already curious about your Wiener Gemeindehaus buildings. Is there a chance you will upload them on the stex? Anyway, this is a great start. Don't bother about people who complain about the dependency list. IMO this is disrespectful towards the content creators who put lots of effort into their work.

I'm sorry for two posts in a row... but have you ever thought of creating "overhanging" modular breakwaters, which look like a bridge seen from the side? you could place them next to bridges or next to dams, making them appear like a bridge. this way you could create water bridges for the real highway mod, the 6- , 8- and 10-line networks.

it seems to me you used landcover data instead of elevation data. your greyscale matches to the vegetation in the mediterranean sea. northern africa with its dry sahara desert has the highest altitude, the nile delta is among the lowest parts, while the pyrenees, appenines and balkans are not appearing.

there is no need to build a maxis hospital any more, thanks to your excellent upload. the architectural style, as discussed above, perfectly matches the reality. i wonder how people manage to regain their health locked in such dull concrete constructions, but all the hospitals i know look similar to this one.

Great idea! These tunnels are useful, especially to cross city borders, but also for 90 degree "bended" tunnels. I like to use them in mountain areas but it doesn't work because of the steep slopes. Is there a way to increase the max. slope of the subway network (I use ilive's reader)? Also I see some of my sims get lost in the tunnel. I had 47 sims going in and only 23 coming out.
