This mod changes the asphalt streets of SAM7 to one with bike paths on the sides: As far as I know these are eye candy only: A while back I created a texture pack which changes the surface of Paeng's lots to the red commonly found in the Netherlands: @pgxpgx created a set of bike paths too:

Lotted a 1x1 house (model by @Oidaas). Wanted to keep it simple, but maybe it could do with a prop in the backyard? What do you think?

No worries! I intended this more as a bug report than anything else. Meant to overwrite these textures with a quick and dirty fix for myself, but I haven't found the time with real life either. These are textures I barely use anyway.

Hi, I've come across the following after running the TGN installer (v2.45) for Appalachian: Selected settings in the installer were all default with: TGN Addons: all selected EU Texture Options: Only Road RTL selected Texture style: EU Cosmetic RHD/LHD: RHD Railway textures: RRW Above was tested in a clean install with just NAM and SC4Fix

These ones seems to tick almost all of the boxes, but the only issue is that they're designed to work with ploppable water. Maybe worth a try to use these to create lots similar to @nbvc's marina. Hopefully someone else can chime in on that! Another option might be to take the wooden parts from this and turn those into custom lots:

These transitions are something I also struggle with so I'm following your experiments with great interest! Usually I end up trying to disguise areas like this with MMP's (water plants) or put in a bridge of some sort. The former works with calm water, but can seem somewhat unrealistic with the flowing water effect you're going for here. The alternative is obscuring things with larger trees on the edges, but that also has its disadvantages...

Like JulioC said, most likely stuff by Wolfze. For the DHL trucks you could maybe use the ones from this file?

This thread might be useful! Another spot that comes to mind is the Capital SimCity website. It's in Spanish, but I found navigating fairly easy: http://descargas.capitalsim.net/?sitio=csc

I was thinking maybe Bægels & Bæns or Starbøcks

Feel like you need a bit of a break? Fancy a somewhat overpriced coffee in a relaxed setting? Why not stop by? (Any suggestions for a name?)

Seconded!

1) In My Sim Mode there's a U-Drive It button where you can disable mission indicators. 2) The texture scanner in SC4 Tool allows you to open a file and save specific textures from it.

A small hospital that will probably fit in well with Scandinavian style towns and cities. It's named after the Swedish city of Nörrköping, but that was just because I needed a name. As far as I know it's not located there. Special thanks to @Oidaas for creating such a wonderful building! While we're at it, let's throw in a hotel in the same style (building prop again by Oidaas):

Another day, another lot. I needed a hospital for my town and fortunately @Oidaas has made some fantastic prop packs.

With their small size these buildings are a perfect fit for smaller towns and villages. W2W corners often tend to be rather grandiose, even with 1x1 or 1x2 size lots. While a four or five-story-building is great for cities, they look out of place when put next to the average house or shop. I personally use these in combination with various other Scandinavian buildings, but I imagine they would also fit in with general European or North-American themed areas. It's been a while since these buildings were released and I feel like not enough people are aware of them. I hope this review changes that.

My moment to shine! I've been collecting Dutch buildings (and ones that could pass for them) for a while now. Check out the stuff by @Haarlemmergold, @Vanderaap, @Aarsgevogelte , @FrankU and most recently @sander97. It's also worth looking into content released under the BNL banner. Some other buildings that come to mind: Any particular type of buildings you're looking for?

Did some relotting: The house on the left came from the SimPolska archive. The building on the right is by @Q-Tips:

It's been a while since I downloaded these files. The one I used is simply titled "Polska" (unsure if that's the title it came with or if I renamed it) and has these folders: civic civics houses industrie other trade w2w 1920 nova w3w 1920 This particular building was located in "civics".

That one was originally hosted on the SimPolska website, but I got it from a backup someone uploaded here: The file name is Tao_Muzeum Okręgowe Sieradz.
