  1. [Delta ²k5]'s "Chop Shop"

I have meshes for the CS100/300/A220-100/300 already made, though only one CS100 released.
  2. Hi @Neitan56 - I'd be happy to help out! Email me at commissions (at) bsquiklehausen.com , and we can get started.
  3. I'll gladly help out as much as I can with my current Golden Gate for testing! Not only would it help with reduced clutter, it would make sure people are able to build their bridges properly, easily - I see a lot of people who have missed out on some of the features of my bridges like the anchorage segments, and an automatic way to make the extra large bridges buildable would be great. It'd also allow even more complex and large structures - the current Golden Gate and Bay Bridges are at about 2/3 scale, to allow for more simple construction (Golden Gate to scale would require A, B, C, D, E, and F suspension segments, which is way too complex!) Let me know if I can help, and how much I can help!
  4. Mod request: Reset Camera

@AmiPolizeiFunk - The Tile view changes direction to whatever the closest cardinal direction to your current camera view is - you can get a tile view from all four cardinal directions.
  5. I feel like (with some abstraction) you could get away with stock cars carrying food...
  6. I know a lot of you from the subreddit and through Steam already, but I figured it may not be dumb to start a thread of my stuff here to post some WIPs and updated stuff - for both feedback and ego stroking. For the most part, I make American style and American-centric vehicles, and I while I use real prototypes, I'll design (or blatantly rip off) my own liveries and designs. I also try to focus on keeping the polygon counts low, and the detail levels appropriate for the game (even with the aggressive LODs, I feel like responsible polycounts Here's what I have so far! AMERICAN COMMUTER TRAINS My trio of American Commuter Trains are all made for the fictional CimRail - originally CalTrain inspired, but now taking equipment cues from Metro North and the Seattle Sounder. Each train is set up to use in-game line colors. Other Trains Inspired by the JFK Airtrain here in New York City, the SkyConnect is perfect to link your airport terminals to each other and to transit connections. It also features line colors. The vanilla freight train looked terrible, and the only way to get an authentic American look was to add insane variety. My freight trains feature 2 different locomotives and 75 unique cars! BETTER PLANES PACK Similarly to the freight trains, I made 13 jet airliners, with a total of 50 texture variants to jazz up airports. These feature some of the more heavily ripped-off liveries, though a couple are nice and original. CITYLINK PASSENGER TRAINS (SOME WIP) And now for the work in progress stuff - I'm revamping my current Amtrak ripoff/inspired Citylink Long Distance train, and adding some Citylink single deck equipment like I see around New York. The revamp includes some better normal maps and new colors as another attempt on bare stainless steel. (My Genesis/Superliners image is old - sorry!) That's it for now - I'll post more WIP pics of new stuff once I make it! Expect a release of the new Citylink stuff soon-ish.
  7. The World's Most Beautiful Train, now available in the World's Most CPU-heavy game. Watch how I made it here: And download it yourself here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1154603842&tscn=1506911959
  8. Road and Terrain textures

Keralis is using a custom "pavement" texture here (usually part of a Map Theme), and the road he is painting over (and later dragging out) is a zoneable pedestrian path as part of Network Extensions 2.
  9. @jmdude1 - Do you mean creating tutorials for using the asset editor to make custom consists, or full-on modelling and texturing tutorials? I suppose I could do the asset editor ones (though I try to have enough existing consists to satisfy everyone!), but I won't do a modelling tutorial because I use a very expensive piece of software to model, and I do not want to have to try and answer questions from people using other 3D packages.
  10. @AmiPolizeiFunk - are you using Ambient Occlusion? That's caused flickering for me in the past.
  11. REV0's Train Stuff

@R3V0 - There are definitely a lot of faces you can remove, if you're concerned about tri count. The gentle curve on the front of the cabs can be achieved very nearly as well with only 5-6 edge loops across instead of the 13 you have now. After that, it's really up to you - I aim for ~2500 tris for locomotives and <1500 tris for cars (<500 for freight cars which might be in large yards), but I know there are lots of train creators that are fine with higher tri counts, and good LODs.
  12. There's nothin' on Earth like a genuine, bona-fide, electrified, six car monorail! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=930337245
  13. REV0's Train Stuff

@R3V0 - what values did you use for illumination? My monorail seems to stay dark at night.
  14. @Miccrosshill - Add faces inside the doorway to build up the inside wall.
  15. I never even knew there was a CRJ freighter - neat! Great work on these textures, too - they all look fantastic!
  16. Additional Public Transit

I have the Seattle Alweg monorail waiting for the DLC to drop as well.
  17. A good compromise for the railings could be a 3D upper bar with the supports being flat planes. Same with the ladder - there's almost no reason for that to be full 3D, especially since it's up against a wall.
  18. Additional Public Transit

@j4lambert - WMATA stuff has been on my radar for a while, though my timeline for it is pretty much "maybe someday".
  19. @Darf - let me know if you ever need any NYC reference! I love all your buildings, and would be happy to help in any way I can.
  20. Phew. All done with the commuter trains for now. Check out the collection featuring all the new trains (and old ones) here: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=903531501
  21. [Delta ²k5]'s "Chop Shop"

Fantastic plan! I'd planned on doing some similar modular assets, but these look to be way better than what I was making! I can't wait to see more!
  22. Additional Public Transit

The more I look at that monorail asset, the more worried I am that we won't be able to make attractive custom ones that properly straddle the track. I've been collecting resources on the Seattle Center monorail and the Newark Airport Airtrain, and both of those really need to be able to straddle to look any good at all.
  23. Ronyx

Any way to use the Rotor shader on vehicles? I am clueless with ModTools, and I don't see a script for vehicles on your github page, @Ronyx69.
  24. I've had issues in the past where I forget to delete my history (Maya user here). As for Photoshop exports - settings aren't important (though I use slowest compression and no interlacing).
  25. Take a look at the Extended Asset Editor mod, which has its own save button. That's been working for me lately.
