I tried a bunch of stuff to try and get them to work including removing all plugins, reinstalling the game, update etc but they just wont grow. I can place 1000 1x2 res lots and they grow instantly. Also if I place 2 1x1 lots together they grow as 1 single 1x2 res lot. 1x1 commercial grows fine. Anyone have a clue as to what is going on? I always assumed they worked the same as far as rci demand. Is that correct?

I have recently made a new large map and was wondering if there was a way to adjust the zoom settings so I can actually zoom out all the way to see the whole region or are we just contained in the "box"? Thanks.

Anyone know of a pack or mod that has 1x1 texture lots such as sidewalks, rocks, and ground textures in general that conform to the terrain. I have alot of mods that have them but they mangle the terrain when you place them. I have 1 or 2 that conform but all have a little tree or bush or lampost lol. I am trying to avoid dL'ing the Bat as I really dont want to get into all that, although I am guessing it would be simple enough to do in the program. Any help would be appreciated.

I have had the game 3 weeks and the only thing that has semi stopped my random "quitting" is playing in software mode. I tried everything, drivers, reinstalling game, with & w/o mods, reinstall windows, gaming tweaks, etc etc. I have a pretty lean, nice machine, E8400, 9600gt, 4g ram win xp, 250g hd. I think the game just doesnt like certain machines/hardware and no matter what you do it doesn't help. I even tried an old ati card I had, x1900 and the game was a slide show in a big city. It's kind of funny my pc runs every modern day game at 50+ fps but this 5 year old game is just a hog. I think some people are lucky and it just runs great, unfortunately you and I are not. If the game wasn't so great I would have dropped it 2 weeks ago.

What are the white wall barrirers on the sides of the sunken highway? I love the look of it. -
I just got the game a couple weeks ago and love it but I am looking for some variations for the roads. I keep seeing all kinds of different style roads in screenshots and would love to use them. I downloaded the SAM mod and loved the streetstyles but there there was always a white box underneath 1x1 of the 1x2. wich makes it pretty much unusable.(I'm guessing a plugin conflict or bug or something) Anyone know of any rock solid addon that will give me choices of street styles that work well? Puzzle peices are usable but would be amazing if they were draggable. Thanks in advance. This is for SC4 btw..

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I have the Nam but it doesn't do as much for eye candy as it does functionality. I will try the Sam addon again but I couldn't manage to drag those starter peices, I am sure I was doing something wrong. I'll try the rural pack as well, thanks alot guys.
