621 DownloadsSteam Workshop link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=483732117 I drove to Louisville this week and got inspired to map it. I made a few minor changes to improve game play, including a sweet spot for cargo ports. There's also a drainage reservoir on the way out of town down the Ohio River. Enjoy!

I've also made a few areas near the lake that will be ideal for cargo ports. There are both ground-level and elevated highways, a large swath of farm land, and sweeping views of the mountains. This is based on a height map of Geneva and the surrounding areas, but not on a 1:1 scale. If you try it out, I'd love your feedback.
5,566 DownloadsCrater Lake is a map vaguely inspired by the real Crater Lake in southern Oregon. Once I started making this map though, it took on it's own identity. It has a lot of open space for a sprawling metropolis yet has that 'hidden away from civilization island' vibe. Enjoy! To install the map: 1. Download the zip file. 2. Unzip the contents to a folder: AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Maps 3. Play! Steam link http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=436979174
1,845 DownloadsThe heightmap was carefully crafted in World Machine and imported into the Cities: Skylines map making tool for finishing. The map features a modest sized, flat central valley for city building, with a narrow meandering river cutting through the land. The valley is surrounded by tall mountains. There is a highway that travels east to west, descending steeply off the mountainside using switchbacks and elevated causeways to help navigate the steep pass. It then cuts across the valley and follows the river out the other side. The buildable tiles are focused on the central valley, but include some of the surrounding mountain terrain too if you're up for a challenge. Resources include patches of fertile ground at the bottom of the valley, ore in the mountains and lots of trees everywhere. The river has a gentle flow and will carry away waste water nicely, but it is the map's soul source of water so plan accordingly. I recommend starting your city where the highway and river are close to each other to have easy access to water and imports/exports. The highway does not contain any interchanges so you will have to construct your own, such at a standard diamond interchange or even a ground level crossing, to lead into your city. To install, place the file into your C:\Users\*USER*\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Maps folder, then you should be able to open in in the map editing tool. From there, click the gear at the top right, re-save the map and be sure to check the "Publish Map in New Game Panel" so it will be available to choose from in your main maps list. Let me know if you have any trouble.
