  1. Devilspine Canyon

    Version 1.0

Devilspine Canyon is a map with many elevation challenges but also a few areas for a rather large sprawl. It has beautiful vistas, waterfalls, creek beds, towering bridges, lush forest land, tons of resources, long winding freeways and rail, all built with painstaking detail. Steam link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=445766639 IMPORTANT! If you use the Steam version of the map, you will need to subscribe to these tree assets for the full effect. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=429084748 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=418579973 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=418579675 If you choose not to, you will have a pretty barren landscape with just a few patches of default trees. Credit to Djelle on Steam workshop for making these. There are 232,086 placed trees on this map.. To install the map: 1. Download the zip file. 2. Unzip the contents to the folder: AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Maps To install the tree assets: 1. Download the zip file. 2. Unzip the contents of the folder, copy the 3 .crp tree files and place them in: AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Assets 3. Play! For those new to the game. There are several areas that have highway off ramps acting as roads. These are just placeholders to show where the roads can go. You can choose to upgrade them where they are to any other type of road or just bulldoze and make your own. This color correction http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=417935657 is used in a few screenshots. All of my maps are hand crafted with loving care and designed with the city builder in mind. Let me know if you spot any issues and I would love to see any cities made on this map so shoot me a link or leave it in the comments. Enjoy!
  2. Crater Lake

    Version 1.2

Crater Lake is a map vaguely inspired by the real Crater Lake in southern Oregon. Once I started making this map though, it took on it's own identity. It has a lot of open space for a sprawling metropolis yet has that 'hidden away from civilization island' vibe. Enjoy! To install the map: 1. Download the zip file. 2. Unzip the contents to a folder: AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Maps 3. Play! Steam link http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=436979174
  3. FloopyLands

    Version 1.0

Steam Workshop Link >>> FloopyLand Hello Ladies And Gentlemen and welcome to FLOOPY LANDS ! First of all I suggest you subscribe to one of the 2 mods that allow to extand the tiles to 25 All Spaces Unlockable - With Right Price OR All 25 Areas purchasable And btw the mod that unlocks achievements Mod Achievement Enabler So why Floopy Lands Well ... I've always liked to build on cliffs so I created a map with cliffs. Yep. I started the design of the map here based on a nice but very mixed heightmap and the result wasn't a very user oriented map, to be honest it was unplayable. So I had to fix it to make it more friendly-building. (And it took longer than I expected ) The map remains a challenge and sometimes you'll need to submit to the curves of the cliffs and forsake the practical side. I hesitated to get the begining on the map on the beach as adventurous pioneers but, I finally adopt a traditional start to let you the choice of expansion. We could divide the map into several regions An artificially landscaped area. (Beginning of the map) A relatively steep terrain San Fransisco style. (Southern map) A nice flat beach for a free construction. (Well... where there's sand) Wide areas with low height variations for a free construciton but in addition it, it's beautiful. (Top of map) Challanged-areas with 2 mountains. The great cliff at east of the map And... And a small secret area. Oh oh mysterious, mysterious... Of course all conveyance are avalaible. This is the first version of my map, so feel free to bring your sugestions or bugs, and even map names... ( but i like Floopy Lands ;D ) , and especially post your screenshots of your cities i will be glad to see them.
  4. Frontierland

    Version v1.0.1

Inspired by the Wild West, Frontierland is a fictional island region which features a mountainous terrain, along with natural harbours, cliffs and plains. Everything has been hand-made using a combination of SC4Terraformer and the game’s terraforming tools. The map has been designed with playability in mind -- hopefully this means there’s a balance between aesthetics and functionality. For example, there are certain areas which have been flattened to make building easier. To keep it in proportion, the region is 4x4, consisting of 4 large city tiles. The summit of the island reaches 5040ft (1536m) above sea level. Frontierland has been optimised for use with Lowkee33’s Appalachian Terrain Mod. However, it also works with the standard Maxis terrain, or any other terrain mod (standard or HD). INSTALLATION The map is contained within a *.SC4M file, which means you’ll need to use either SC4Mapper or SC4Terraformer to install and render it. For Mapper the config.bmp file is contained inside this, but for Terraformer you’ll need to copy the included config.bmp. I’d recommend using SC4Mapper, as the latest version is designed for use with modern systems (Windows 7 and newer). SC4Mapper Unzip the archive. Copy Frontierland.SC4M into your Regions folder. Start SC4Mapper. Click Create Region > SC4M Browse and select the Frontierland.SC4M file, then click Open. Click Save Region. Confirm the name for the region, and click OK to complete. The game can then be started and the region loaded. You’ll need to save all 4 city tiles to remove the pre-rendered terrain colours. SC4Terraformer Unzip the archive. In your Regions folder, create a new folder named “Frontierland” (or whatever you’d like to name the region). Copy the config.bmp and the Frontierland.SC4M file. Start SC4Terraformer. Browse and open the new region folder you created. In the Global Tools menu, click “Import image”. Browse and select the Frontierland.SC4M file, then click OK. Click File > Save and confirm. The game can then be started and the region loaded. You’ll need to save all 4 city tiles to remove the pre-rendered terrain colours. Once rendered, you may delete or move the leftover PNG files and the SC4M file. Have fun! -Cyclone
  5. Tyrria Raw

    Version 1.0

I uploaded this a little while ago after I'd put it up on Reddit and gotten some positive feedback. It was originally taken down from here because I didn't have everything in the proper format. I've attached a .sc4m file and the corresponding config.bmp now so hopefully that's what everyone needs in order to get the map to work properly now. Please let me know if I'm missing something and I'll try to get it as fast as I can.
