  3. Hell in the Pacific

HELL IN THE PACIFIC On December 7th 1941, the tranquil paradise of Hawai'i was shattered. A surprise Japanese attack on the island of O'ahu and the fleet at Pear Harbor was caused for one of the most devastating defeat in US military history. ''A date which will live in infamy- the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan'' [...] Franklin D. Roosevelt, President of the United States later announced that day. Simultaneously, the Imperial Japanese Navy would attack Hong Kong, the Philippines, the Islands of Guam and Wake and would attack Midway a few hours later. World War II just extended to the Pacific theater. (note: this part is fictional, most names are real though) After a series of victories that were the result of a surprise offensive undertaken by the Japanese forces in the Pacific, the Caroline Islands, an American Protectorate, would fall to the hands of the armies of the Rising Sun. During almost 2 years, the Japanese would impose chaos and fear in that once-thriving Pacific nation composed of hundreds of small islands and atolls. November 20, 1943: Operation Typhoon was launched. US battleships, destroyers and aircraft carriers launched a major assault on the atolls of Rabaul and Tarawa in the Caroline Islands to take control of this strategic point in the South Pacific. The objective was to destroy the Japanese coastal defenses in Tarawa and seize control of Peleliu airfield in Rabaul. US fleet firing at Japanese positions prior to the landing of US Marines US Marines landing at Kirimati beach in the Tarawa atoll US fighters destroying Japanese aircraft at Peleliu airfield, Rabaul Island

I strongly advise you guys to PM the one that made the CJ were you found that picture to ask him/her if he/she still have the files. The Minute Maid stadium was released as a Beta only on Megaupload. And nobody uploaded it after megaupload was taken down, since the BAT was on Beta stage and not fully completed. Would love to find the stadium also? Thanks p.s. Looks like someone just did some work to the houston astros(reliant stadium) here on the stex
  13. Heblem's BAT Workshop

No problem , that's something we often tend to forget in the excitement of using a new Mod sometimes , just don't forget the dependencies. Just remember that there are sometimes textures conflicts when you use this Mod on a steep terrain.
  14. Heblem's BAT Workshop

Hey SteffeeH, not sure if this is the best thread to ask your question but you seem new to the forum Have you download the dependencies?

  17. THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS GUYS! Ancient Temple Complex of Waxuktún Estado de Guerrero Although 90% of Arumbayas now live in the deep jungles of San Theodoros, they are known to be the descendants of one of the greatest civilizations in the Americas. The Arumbayas established themselves as a small tribe of fishermen along the coasts of Modern San Theodoros during the Pre-classic period (2000 BC to AD 250). Following regular raids of the Jivaro and Carib indians during the early classic period (AD 250 to AD 900), the Arumbayas started to develop cities that would prevent them from being attacked by other tribes. These cities reached a very high state of development starting AD 900 and the Arumbaya developed a civilization that became the most powerful in the region until the arrival of French Explorers in San Theodoros. The Arumbayas were well known for their art, architecture, mathematical and astronomical systems, even though they did not possess any form of writing system. The French explorers landing in San Theodoros were amazed by the beauty of the site of Waxuktún and considered the Arumbayas a threat to the settling of colons in the region. Following a war between the Arumbayas and the French, the remaining members of the tribe hid in the deep jungle of the country and never returned to the coast. Because of the lack of materials to rebuild their glorious civilization, the Arumbayas went back to live the way their ancestors lived in the past, in wooden huts. Arumbaya Art
  18. Port of Mayumba Tour

Attention: This is an official press release from the Department of State for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of San Theodoros.   Our President, General Ramón Alcazar just submitted an official request for a State visit to his excellency Ebele Makanzu, President of the Nyangan Free State, in an effort to consolidate the San Theodoran-Nyangan relationships.   ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, apart from that I loved those two updates on your CJ. It's looking great. I didn't have the chance to comment your first post so I'm going to comment both updates. The city is looking great, you have a well balanced use of mid-rises buildings that gives a good African feeling to Mayumba. Reminds me of Cape Town.    Only thing that I would have suggested is to use a few VERY large avenues like many African cities have. Otherwise, the use of English mid rises with Polish coloured commie buildings is very accurate for the recreation of the city. I think it lacks traffic, but it's pretty hard to have that in SC4 unless using a traffic generator.   Using LBT buildings is very effective to recreate the African atmosphere. Great job!   As for the harbour, it's very good looking, it has the perfect size for a small African nation and you chose the right buildings to make it look different from the Asian and European/North American harbours we generally have in the game   Keep up the good work!

Most definitely interested! The brutalist building looks sweet!
  20. El Centro Colonial

REPLIES Huston Thanks a lot! Hazani Pratama Thanks SC4L0ver Thank you! Hope you will like the next pictures! Benedict Again trying to be as realistic as I can, thanks Benedict! Schriefer Obrigado my friend! LOS DOPICOS COLONIAL CENTER The city of Los Dopicos is famous all around the world for its beautiful colonial center that reflects the influences of the four main colonizing powers of the country, the French, the Portuguese, the Spanish and the Dutch. Traditional San Theodoran music, this is the instrumental version of the most famous and the most popular song in San Theodoran Culture ''General Alcazar''. A song glorifying the great leader of our nation. Viva! Interpreted by famous San Theodoran guitar player Compay Primero from the Linda Vista Social Club
  21. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Hey guys! Looking for these two japanese midrises circled on the picture. Can't remember where they're from! Thanks in advance!
  22. JP Schriefer's BATs

Waoow the modelling on this one is great, a significant improvement! Are you planning to do the whole complex or just the main building? Anyways, it will definitely have its spot in a San Theodoran city As for the suggestions I have one (actually 2 but these are the same kind of buildings), it should be not so difficult to recreate and many people would probably use it in their cities: N.B.: These are examples
