"The Alas Building is a residential and office tower, designed in the rationalist style, located in the San Nicolás neighborhood, in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was the tallest building in Buenos Aires from 1957 to 1994." Originally conceived as the ATLAS Building (Agrupación de Trabajadores Latinoamericanos Sindicalizados S.A.), and undertaken by the association of the same name whose president was Carlos Aloé, an official in the government of Juan Domingo Perón. During the Revolution, the building was expropriated and handed over to the Argentine Air Force, which completed it and allocated it for housing for personnel of various ranks. Additionally, the name was changed to "ALAS" (WINGS). In the central block of the building, there are nine apartments per floor, and originally, ALAS had its own supply store, as well as internal-use commercial spaces. Comcast Center is a skyscraper in Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The 58-story, 297-meter (974 ft) tower is the tallest building in Philadelphia and the state of Pennsylvania, as well as the twenty-second tallest building in the United States. Originally called One Pennsylvania Plaza when the building was first announced in 2001, the Comcast Center went through two redesigns before construction began in 2005. Comcast Center was designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects for Liberty Property Trust. At the beginning of 2005, the final redesign and its new name—the Comcast Center—was unveiled. The building is named after its lead tenant, cable company Comcast, which makes the skyscraper its corporate headquarters.[6] Leasing 1,094,212 square feet (101,656 m2), Comcast takes up 89 percent of the building. The building features retail and restaurant space and a connection to the nearby Suburban Station. In Comcast Center's lobby is the Comcast Experience, which is a 2,000 square feet (190 m2) high-definition LED screen that has become a tourist attraction. Designed to be environmentally friendly, the skyscraper is the tallest Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified building in Philadelphia. The Reynolds Building is a 314-foot (96 m) Art Deco skyscraper at 51 E. 4th Street in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina with 313,996 square feet (29,171.2 m2) of space. It was completed in 1929 and has 21 floors.For much of its history the building served as headquarters for R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. After a sale to PMC Property Group in 2014, the building went through an estimated $60 million in renovations. In March 2016, The Residences @ the R.J. Reynolds Building, apartments located on the top 11 floors, opened. The first six floors opened as the Kimpton Cardinal Hotel in April. The Hotel Presidente InterContinental is a hotel in Campos Eliseos # 218, Colonia Polanco, in Miguel Hidalgo Delegation in Mexico City, has 15 elevators that move at 6.5 meters per second, was one of the first buildings in the City Of Mexico in counting the high-speed elevators, in addition to having one of the fastest elevators in the world for its time. The building became the third highest in Mexico City and for the 20 years in the highest of the Polanco colony, being the first skyscraper of that area, currently the 20th highest building in Mexico City and for the 2011 the building is expected to move to the 30th place on the list of the highest skyscrapers in the Federal District. The Frederic C. Hamilton Building holds the Modern and Contemporary art collection, along with the Architecture and Design collection, and Oceanic art collection. The unique building also serves as the main entrance to the rest of the museum complex.[8]This ambitious project doubled the size of the museum, allowing for an expansion of the art on view, inside a bold aesthetic facade. The complex deconstructivist geometric design of the Hamilton building consists 20 sloping planes, covered in 230,000 square feet of titanium shingles. The angular design juts in many directions, supported by a 2,740-ton structure that contains more than 3,100 pieces of steel. One of the angled elements extends 100 feet (30 m) over the street below. None of the 20 planes is parallel or perpendicular to another.[9] The design uses many extended angular planes to be reminiscent of the natural landscape. Similar to the peaked roof of theDenver International Airport, the Hamilton building emulates the sharp angles of the nearby Rocky Mountains, as well as the geometric crystals found at the mountains' base near Denver. Daniel Libeskind, architect of the building, said “I was inspired by the light and geology of the Rockies, but most of all by the wide-open faces of the people of Denver." The titanium panels also reflect the light of the Colorado sunshine. López Serrano Building was the tallest residential building in Cuba until the construction of FOCSA in 1956.1 It was designed by the architect Ricardo Mira in 1929, who also designed the "La Moderna Poesía" bookstore for the same owner in 1941, on Calle Bishop. It has been compared many times with the Bacardí Building in Old Havana, built two years after the López Serrano, due to its similarities in the towers. 488 Madison Avenue, also known as the Look Building, is a 25-story office building in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. It is along Madison Avenue's western sidewalk between 51st and 52nd Streets, near St. Patrick's Cathedral. 488 Madison Avenue was designed by Emery Roth & Sons in the International Style, and it was constructed and developed by Uris Brothers. The building was originally named for its primary tenant, the American magazine Look. The building largely contains a facade of white brick, interspersed with horizontal strips of aluminum windows. The lowest two stories contain a main entrance on Madison Avenue as well as several glass-and-metal storefronts. The three sides are connected by curved walls. The exterior includes several setbacks to comply with the 1916 Zoning Resolution. Each of the building's stories contain an average floor area of 19,500 square feet (1,810 m2), a feature intended to maximize usable office space. I had wanted to make my own version of the Chrysler building for a long time, and even though we have reddonquixote's excellent version I wanted to make adjustments with the height to make the Chrysler even with my version of the Empire State Building, plus it has always annoyed me that the back of the Chrysler building bifurcates diagonally, so in my version I want this detail not to be there, being the building completely orthogonal, I have to say that modeling this building has been a delight. It will soon be ready.

One Kansas City Place is the tallest building in Missouri located in downtown Kansas City, bounded by 12th Street to the north, Baltimore Avenue to the west, and Main Street to the east. Built in 1988, the 190.1 m (624 ft) skyscraper was designed by Patty Berkebile Nelson & Immenschuh and replaced the Town Pavilion as the tallest building in the city. One Kansas City Place is considered an architectural salute to City Hall, which is located 5 blocks east of Main on 12th Street. One Kansas City Place was constructed as the first part of a much larger project named Kansas City Place, which never was completed. The project was to include townhomes, office towers, and residential/hotel towers. The Kansas City Place project was originally proposed during the real estate boom of the 1980s. The plan was developed by Frank Morgan and his uncle Sherman Dreiseszun who had earlier built Town Pavilion that was completed in 1986. The tower was proposed for the South Loop (So-Lo) area south of downtown's central business district. The project included a plethora of skyscrapers with uses ranging from offices to hotels and residential buildings. Unsubstantiated claims hold that a major cause of the project's failure to come to its full stature was the complaints of residents, claiming it would ruin Kansas City's skyline, which had remained largely unchanged for 30 years. One Kansas City Place was to be the third-tallest of several towers constructed, though it is the tallest that was actually constructed. Today, it is one of the most recognizable buildings in Kansas City's skyline.
