Time for another map! This time, it's Mexico City, Mexico (for SimCity 4). Mexico City is the largest city and capital of Mexico, home to 9.2 million people with a metropolitan area population of over 21 million, it is also the largest city and metropolitan area in North America. Built on the site of the historic Aztec city of Tenochtitlan, it is located in the Valley of Mexico, part of the Trans-Mexico Volcanic Belt and is located starting at approximately 7,200 ft above sea level. The map is 24 x 20 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. Overall elevations have been adjusted to better fit in game. In order to install the map you will need wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer as the file is in SC4M format. I hope you can put this map to good use, enjoy! -TCC View My Full Map Catalogue Here:-

This is a set of houses from Mexico Cities in the Álvaro Obregón borough, near the Santa Fe business district. There are two house models each with 4 colors. There are individual houses on 1x2 and 1x3 lots. There is also gated community of houses on 2x7, 3x8, and 5x8 lots. The 3x8 and 5x8 are network enable inspired by mattb325's cul-de-sac lots. This is the first of hopefully many Mexico City uploads. I plan on using mostly the same dependencies for the future Mexico City Uploads. The Torre Latinoamericana (English: Latin-American Tower) is a skyscraper in downtown Mexico City, Mexico. Its central location, height (188 m or 597 ft; 44 stories) and history make it one of the city's most important landmarks. It is also widely recognized internationally as an engineering and architectural landmark since it was the world's first major skyscraper successfully built on highly active seismic land. The old skyscraper withstood the 1985 Mexico City earthquake without damage. The Torre Latinoamericana was Mexico City's tallest building from 1956, when it was built, until the 1984 completion of the Torre Ejecutiva Pemex, which is 22 m higher (although, if one subtracts the height of the television transmitter atop the Torre Latinoamericana, it had already been surpassed in 1972 by the 207 m-tall Hotel de México, which was subsequently remodelled and turned into the World Trade Center Mexico City). It is situated on the corner of the Eje Central and Madero Street. The Pemex Executive Tower (Spanish: Torre Ejecutiva Pemex) is a skyscraper in Mexico City. The 214 meter (211 meters to top floor) international style tower was built between 1976 and 1982. Since the building's opening, it has been occupied by state-owned Pemex, one of the largest petroleum companies in the world. The Torre Ejecutiva Pemex originally proposed to replace two 14-story towers built between 1967 and 1970. Later, these buildings were replaced by a pair of 26-story towers to house Pemex's administrative offices. However, the 1980s oil boom demanded office space growth and Pemex decided to build a single 52-story tower in a downtown lot with a huge plaza covering an underground avenue. The building is anchored to the ground, rests on 164 concrete and steel piles that penetrate to a depth of 35 meters surpassing the old filling swampy lake to reach firmer ground. In addition, its x-braced structure features 90 shock-absorbers to minimize oscillations from earthquakes. The tower was completed in 1982, but the surrounding plaza was never completed. The Torre Ejecutiva Pemex remained the tallest building in Mexico for almost 20 years,[1] until August 2003, when the 55-story Torre Mayor was completed only half a mile away. Currently, the Torre Pemex is the third tallest building in Mexico, and the second tallest in Mexico City. The tower is currently occupied by approximately 7,000 Pemex employees. On 19 September 1985, the tower withstood a magnitude 8.1 earthquake, as well as other strong earthquakes that commonly strike Mexico City. The building was designed to withstand an earthquake of 8.5 on the Richter scale. The_H1: Hybrid Building for Metropolitan Services in Mexico City

The_H1: Is my second original BAT design for the SimCity 4, Is a massive building with 305 meters ( 1000 ft) tall ( I've been working in this new concept, I also made a street level rendering to better understanding the geometry). The complex building is located in Mexico City, is not a simple tower with offices or a mixed use building, What is the difference in here? , ¿What is a Hybrid Building? A hybrid building is an extension of the city, it allows Schools, Hospitals, Hotels, Living, Offices, Supermarkets, Museums, and lot of things. The interesting thing is that a Hybrid Building is funded by two economies, Privated and Public, so this make a super profitable building, the whole population in the city wins the benefits because they can use the public services in the building, and the private investor could make healty bussines in too. Basically a Hybrid building has to have the 3 essential concepts of the sustainability: Economy sustainable, Social Sustainable and Bioclimatic sustainable. Enjoy it ! The Torre Mayor (literally "Major Tower") is a skyscraper in Mexico City, Mexico. With a height of 225 metres (738 feet) to the top floor and 55 stories, it is the third tallest building in Mexico. From its completion in 2003 until 2010 (when it was surpassed by the 236 meter (774 ft) high Ocean Two in Panama City. t was also the tallest building in Latin America. The Torre Mayor was developed by Canadian businessman Paul Reichmann, who also maintains part ownership. It is also part-owned by a group of institutional investors. The building was designed by the architectural firms of Zeidler Partnership Architects and Executive Architects Adamson Associates Architects, both of Toronto. Located at Paseo de la Reforma, it was built by Canadian-owned Reichmann International on the former location of the Cine Chapultepec.[5] Construction work began in 1999 and was finished in late 2003. Due to Mexico City's high propensity to earthquakes, the tower incorporates several anti-earthquake measures. Torre Mayor is one of the strongest buildings on Earth in terms of earthquake resistance, being designed to withstand earthquakes measuring 8.5 on the Richter Scale. The U.S. Bank Tower in earthquake prone Los Angeles, California by comparison, is designed to withstand an 8.3 intensity earthquake. The Torre Mayor stands in the lakebed area where most of the 1985 earthquake damage occurred, It was built with 96 dampers, which work like car shock absorbers to block the resonating effect of the lakebed and its own height. These diamond-shaped dampers are seen architecturally on its perimeter. With this extra bracing, this tower can withstand earthquake forces nearly four times as efficiently as a conventionally damped building. The dampening system proved its worth in January 2003, as a 7.6 earthquake shook the city. Not only did the building survive undamaged, occupants inside at the time did not know a tremor had occurred. Replies: Mithrik: thank you, i have been inspired by Mexico City, Los Angeles and Havana when i made this 10000000000000: thanks, i know i forgot to put out the grid, and indeed the traffic, i know, but that has been solved cause the whole city is Ploppable, so there was not a residential area yet :S Hazani Pratama: thanks! Kakado_To_Save: thank you! Ggamgus, Schulmanator, RepublicMaster: thanks, and i wish you also a happy new year I wanted to do this update before the new year but i had no wireless internet for 2 weeks, i could only come online on a computer with wired internet, thats also the reason why SimEmirate did the photoshopping Today we are going to visit Los Santos, the capital of Costa Palma, but watch out, cause its not the safest place to be. there are a lot of drugs gangs in the city, only in downtown there aren't so many of them, almost none, the only thing you have to watch out for are the many pickpockets, so be carefull with bags and never show your purse and keep them in your front pockets. Not far away from the highway to Los Santos there is an ancient Mayan city, we first make a short stop there. Before the parking lot there is a small town with some souvenir shops. These are the ruins: Now we must go on. This is not a bad neighbourhood, so its also not dangerous out here. Here we see one of the 3 canals in the city, they protect the city from flooding, cause it rains a lot here, it can start raining suddenly, and it can also clear up suddenly, there is even a car wreck out there, the water takes almost everything on its path. We're there! Los Santos has a lot of appartement blocks, like these. Here are all the government buildings, this square is the oldest part of Los Santos, the Cathedral and the two brown/red roofed buildings left and right above are the oldest buildings of Los Santos that still exist. Here are some night pics: Its getting late, we will stay at this inn I hope you enjoyed it! Next time we will go to the coast and we'll go on a cruise, bye!
