    There seems to be a problem with my SAM, I can't get it to work like before. I place the starter piece, but when I drag out a street, it just makes a regular street, leaving that one tile of whatever SAM type street I'd placed. I've attached some screenshots. I've never had problems with SAM before, am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

    Is there a functional seaplane landing/base available? That is for real, not ploppable water.. Probably too much to ask for, but an art-deco one would be awesome

  9. Does anyone know of an underground rail station that can be found on stex (or lex)? Preferably a not so modern one. I found which is actually perfect, but doesn't seem to work (I downloaded and installed it, but don't seem to be able to find it anywhere in the menu).. Thanx in advance

    That's great, looking forward to it! But for now, regarding these stations, I found them in the misc. transport menu, however I'm not able to choose them (they appear grey). I've even built the RTMT construction lot, I thought this would activate them maybe, like it activates the RTMT lots, but it didn't. Any advice?

    That's great advice, I'll try it this afternoon! I have RTMT installed, but I never thought of the possibility of them showing in the menu like something other than what they are There is another 1x1 station on lex, but it's too modern for what I'm aiming for.. Thanks!

    A year and a half later, another one with the same problem..  Any solutions/answers yet?   Too bad, I was really looking forward to replacing one of my sunken stations wit this one..
  14. Checking the game .exe file and it says 1.1.638.0. The game is legit, bought in a store in Croatia, running with the CD in.

Sorry for bumping this, but I've got a question - I downloaded the updates, started to update in the needed order, but when updating with The EP1 update (1.1.638.0), a message pops up saying "No Old file found, however a file with the same name has been found but no update done since the contents do not match" (or something in that sense). After clicking OK, the update runs to the end and says that the update has been done successfully. Afterwards, I launched the second, night-lights, update, it runs fine and says that the update has been successfully done. However, when I run the NAM installer, it still says that the game isn't updated to 1.1.640.0, i.e. nightlights. Has anyone got an idea what to do?
  16. At present, there isn't. Additionally, when that one is added, it'll be draggable, like most of the NWM transitions that have been added since NAM 30, and it won't be under the button in puzzle piece form (in fact, we're trying to make the button obsolete). You might be able to temporarily think of the brief lane drop as being for construction purposes for the time being. Thanx, Tarkus.
  17. Is there a way to connect a narrow 4 lane road to an avenue or some other 4 lane roadway? I'm searching through transition pieces and all I'm finding is the N4LR to road transition. And since I just want to narrow my avenue to 1 tile, but leaving it with four lanes, transitioning it to a 2 lane road first just to widen it to four lanes afterwards doesn't seem too realistic..

    There was a hack with street connections using the curved underground rail under road piece, I've done it myself lots of times. As for the OWR connection, I've never managed to do it, nor have I seen someone else do it. The google search didn't help much either..

    This post isn't about showing what I'm working on, but rather gathering ideas on how to work on it, so please move it to a better place if needed. So, does anybody have an idea how to make this road connect to a neighboring city, preferably continuing diagonally? I know that OWRs can't connect, and before you ask why using OWRs when there's RHW, it's because the road should be like a 1920s parkway (my city being in that timew currently), partly segregated, partly boulevard-like with buildings lining it, basicly a road that would today be considered outdated, and eventually replaced by a highway and OWR seems to fit best (narrower lanes, no stop lanes etc.). And frankly I haven't got the hang of RHW yet (despite having played SC4 since it came out). So, if anybody has some ideas, please let me know (pointing to specific pieces if needed would be most appreciated ). Thanx!
  20. I'm having some inconsistency with region traffic view, and I think it might be causing trouble with the city that has this black roads. Namely, when playing that particular city, CTDs are more frequent, save doesn't work properly (sometimes when saving, the game just exits to desktop by itself) etc. Could it be in fact connected? If yes, what might be causing it? Is it a known bug? All the other cities in this region use the same plugins pack, btw,,
  21. It seems like I'm missing some textures, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me which ones? I'm using Peg's Alternate rail set mod.. edit: disregard the bright light, I was just playing around..

    It functions perfectly. It's the visual part that bothers me.. Oh well, what can you do..
