Are there any I-AG filler lots? I mean, sometime I have to plop something in the middle of a field and it destroys/leaves an empty tile. I don't want to have to re-develop the whole zone to fill it back.

This might work, depending on the crops you're trying to fix-

Other options- tree mmp's, water pumps and towers, rocks mmp's, irrigation canals, debris mmp's, barns.

Exactly what I was looking for! But for Maxis' default fields textures... Does it exists? What do you mean with your "other options"?

If you have the Extra Cheats plug-in installed, you can bring up Building/LotPlop and Maxis crops should be there in the I-R. Several caveats- they don't come in diagonals and they plop in an un-grown state. I don't know how long it takes for them to sync to surrounding crops(if ever). Other options means ways to disguise the un-zoned tile. Also, plain concrete pads for staging equipment, oil and fuel, are common on farms.

I have a solution for you... *;)

A while ago @CorinaMarie and I were working on a farm filler set, which featured ploppable 1x1 lots for the Maxis fields. I believe this is precisely what you're looking for, but we'd not got around to completing the full package for a main STEX release.

So what I've just done now is locate the standard fillers, and made them into a basic set which can be used as they are:

They're visible atop the Parks menu like so:

Just copy the folder into Plugins which contains the 6 .dat files (one is a Cohort which they all use), and it should be good to go.


A few design notes:

  • The lots all use the Maxis textures. We made a couple of revisions to these in our main unreleased package, but for this simple set they're Maxis only.
  • Added SPOT props for easier alignment of field crop rows. This isn't a dependency, but can optionally be used to assist plop direction.
  • The lots will randomly trigger the field worker animations and sprinklers when applicable (timed props).


We hope they come in useful. *:)

Well thought but misfortunately, they don't seem to be there (at least on my side)... I expected them to be 1x1, but the only one of that size I have is a barn (0x900012e0).

Earlier today I stumbled upon a mod that allows to query farmland tiles and know how many jobs they provide but I can't find it back. Does anyone know which one I'm talking about?

Oh yes, Cori and I made lots for those too in both horizontal and vertical directions:

Not quite... This is a job multiplier while what I'm looking for is a mod that displays (through the query tool) the number of jobs a farmland tile provides (apart from the zone's building). Thanks for the answer!

If I remember right, the farm field usually provides the same info as the farm building itself. Usually 6 jobs for fields and a little higher(I'm thinking 24 for large barns and ranches), No variances between crops unless you use the doubler cheat.

Is there a tool/software that allows to export a city/region's data (everything on the graphs and anything else available) from the save file/s into a table? I currently use Region Census to export the images and the populations data (.csv format) but it doesn't provide any more... KREW - Klyte's Region Exporter as Webpage does it, at least partly, but doesn't (only) provide a table file... I found this related topic :

Seems the creator is Kryptowhite, who hasn't been active here, since late 2009. Don't know who downloaded it to that site. Most everything else there SC4-wise is patches and out-of-date NAM's. There's nothing which I'm aware about it, but given the timeframe and it missing from a community exchange, it'll be suitable to restore both those files in good faith. The old file IDs there are 22365 and 22050 respectively, which once re-uploaded I'll assign server side redirects onto new STEX entries.

Doing a Ctrl+F on that New York blog page for Kryptowhite finds 4 in total, including the subway station too.

If we can locate them all, the re-uploads can be assigned to @Kryptowhite since they have an account here. *:yes:

I'm also pinging @PBGV103, who might have something add. They had a blog where they might have uploaded some buildings. https://manhattanmodels.blogspot.com/

That site was in a line of sites of north american and canadian city bat´s ! Beside Newyork city, there´s  Detroit and Torpmtp ! Applied for the Newyork  donnation download never heard anything about them. Detroit was and may be all complete. Toronto had aswell some missing bats. Detroit in SimCity 4 has gone forever, seems. What I could download is present somewhere in my files !

Hi!

The church model is coming from this upload:

However the lot itself is a custom lot created by Paeng and I don't think it was ever released. Also the set-up itself using his modular Paeng Park pieces. He had many custom lots which he never released, but used them in his cities and City Journals. I think the lot could be recreated in PIM-X or Lot Editor, the dependencies seem to be SG Mega Props, Murimk Props vol2, Paeng Textures, maybe porkie props and some of SimFox's trees perhaps.

Shall be done soon. ON a side note, I haven't been dealing with this mod for quite a while, but I believe I can even get around this by making a relot and pointing to a different dependency. But rest assured, I will take care of this.
