Ah..I don't know. It seems like to me this canal set here might be the set designed by "oppie" but I could be wrong. From what I can recall oppie's canal set was light gray concrete like the photo above and was deep like this as well. If you have ever heard of or downloaded a lot " Amsterdam central station it has the oppie style canal running infront of it. It does look like his work to me. His canal set is still on simtropolis and its one of the original sets that came out before alot of the newer ones used now. Here's a link

I never see anyone makes a barn like that. Sure, there are some barns around, but not like that. I suggest you to make a request maybe there are some BATers who is interested to make it.

Anyone have a link to a mod or install from the Exchange that makes roads plopped blend smoothly with the terrain?

Example, i have a city thats got plenty hills, rolling mounds and some steep inclines. The streets currently looks sort of choppy or has sharp transitions from flat to uphill then back downhill. Ive tried one mod but instead of making the street "go with the flow" of the uphill incline, the mod cut thru the hill imto a flat road which isnt realistic when every road is flat.

Anything to make the road go with the flow of the ground underneath?

 

Sounds like you're searching for a slope mod.  Cefien posted a link to one, but there are several others if you want to test them out, because they sometimes works differently...

Not trying to rub salt into a wound or anything, and it's really not a big issue....but since I got a notification that you quoted one of my posts, I'll go ahead and issue a response, too.  My post, which you quoted, was made a number of months ago and the issue was resolved already.  When you read further into the thread, you will see that it was addressed already and thus it became a closed matter.  Sometimes when we post comments, we are doing our best to help and offer advice.  We don't always get it right (such as what happened with my post you quoted) - and, in those situations, someone will usually come along and correct us or say "No, I'm sorry, that's not what I'm looking for".  That's what happened.  My inaccurate information was corrected, and it's been several months since Cefien let everyone know that those particular canals were not released to the public.

Sir, i don't think this matter entirely belongs to this thread. You better post to the General discussion or Bugs and technical issue. Questions from me, what kind of mod did you download related to the heavy rail and/or el-real before? I see you got the catenary mod. Any other mod that you downloaded? And what "the black surrounding the rail" were you talking about actually?

1. Like what Cefien already said before, your post is off-topic

2. I can't find anything wrong there, there is indeed nothing under the el-rail, it is normal. While for the heavy rail, that is normal too, the texture will be appeared when there is a lot near the rail, and there will not any texture around the rail on the middle because there is no lot anywhere around it. If you want the dirt texture to be removed, you can try this one.

Sorry for that x3 That's what i wanted, I wanted the dirt to be gone so it doesn't look so blocky and out of place, and what when concrete things under the e-rail I see in Asian Bats? Again sorry for the wrong place xD

The is what you are looking for. It won't remove your original Maxis streets but will add several additional type of streets (including dirt street). But first you must install the

I think that is NOB's 'Fishing Boat Shop' - go HERE and look under the 'seaport, naval port' section.  The 'Fishing Boat Shop' is on the right side at the bottom.  Click the green button with the down arrow to download.  Google translate can help navigate the site if you don't know Japanese
