  1. hey so after installing plugins from simtropolis and using the offline installer from GOG to install SimCity 4 and following Wolf's recommendations for necessary mods to prevent the game from crashing, it seems the game crashes from attempts to start a region. Any fixes for that? . Unfortunately, it does not yield a crash report or code from the crash.

  9. Things were going well with SimCity 4 until i went to plop a beach, then the game crashed. I rebooted, tried in a new region, it happened again. I have all the plugins, I have all the necessary items outlined in Wolf's post (below) and it still crashes. Every plugin folder in the SimCity 4 Deluxe directory on my computer (GOG Galaxy, Maxis) has every plugin from sc4pac and from Wolf's recommendations and it still crashes. The 4GB patch is patched, the voodoo2 installation has gone through without issue... What now?
  10. it worked when i unstarred. Now can somebody help me with the game crashes? lol after installing all the necessary mods outlined in Wolf's post, the game still crashes when at the load region screen.

Given that sc4pac functions from a connection to my profile on simtropolis and the key that is generated from the website, you'd think sc4pac would be aware that the reason it is failing to read this file is because it no longer exists on simtropolis (i've searched myself). The Maintenance & Repair option i initiated before this and after this endeavor has not led to alignment between sc4pac and this site and my PC. I'm curious when there are plans to update sc4pac and simtropolis to alignment to avoid these kind of failures since sc4pac doesn't proceed in the rest of the 4,100 downloads...?
  12. now sc4pac is telling me that channel is not available when the page that the link takes you to is up and running just fine. help....
