These other textures look great, too - superb job! Come to think of it, it's been a while since I've last seen a full-blown ground texture pack for universal use.

Nope these are real textures made by famous Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx

 

 

Among many other works, he did the landscaping of the Copacabana promenade in 1970

For those of you who have been to Miami, he also did Biscayne Boulevard in Dowtown

I think maybe SC4 angle do they become a bit weird, but when you walk on these sidewalks they are really beautiful.

Mmm, technically, some BATs we're doing have been done (they're on foreign sites as well), but this project aims to update them since a lot of the content previously was made on GMax.

Reddonquixote- Looks great, but for such a always sunny and bright place those leaves need to be brighter.

And you know what, are you using Ambient Occlusion, form the Special Effects, what is you sample? I keep mine on 2 I think anything higher can be to much.

Thanks very much Aaron.. do you have a foliage colour swatch you could share? As you'd know, I could probably spend the next 6 months trying to get tree/grass colour everyone is happy with. If you have something you use that would be good to try and a comparison.

 

I always set my AO to 4m. What do you not like about this setting? Too dark?

Excuse the double post. A quick update:

 

• Added grime to the paving surface
• Started adding an entry staircase
• Changed all the Ambient Occlusion to 2m.

Here's some of the leaves I have It's simple and I got it from Broad Leaf, I just modified them.

The leaf texture I always use is Leaf009. I have been using this texture on all of my foliage.

I have a picture with my settings, you can start from here and you can adjust them to your liking.

I think your trees do not have reflection, but I could be wrong. When working on trees it can take months to get right, trust me it took time.
